[UI] Daily Clan Quest

  1. As well as having the daily quests, I was thinking that they could bring in a daily clan quest.
    First off they are different everyday and also would be doable by all players. After each member of the clan completes the quest they get a nice reward. I.e uri, good ammo, booty keys and log discs. Maybe not all in the same quest but rewards change everyday.

    The difference between clan quests and the daily quests would be this:

    Another reward would be given out to each member that completes the quest maybe more uri, the more members of a clan that completes the quest the higher the final reward will be.

    Exmple:

    Reward for completion- 200 uri, 2000 x4 and 20 log discs.
    After the 24 hours is up and only one member completes then another reward is given like 50 uri
    if say 10 members complete then the final reward is like 500 uri and so on.

    Note: if a member leaves a clan they will lose out on the final reward. Also if a new member joins a clan they will have to wait until the next days clan quest.

I kind of like this idea simply because one too many players are already fed up with the quest system as it is now (let's be honest, nobody likes having to kill 800 cudas or something to get 10k uri which you can get in less than an hour using other methods) and it also brings something new - I believe the current quests are somewhat too repetitive and can be really boring, so +1 from me

    This is a great idea. It gives clan members a good reason to work together to complete a mission.
     
  4. This, though looks good on the surface, stop and think about it a minute. Most ACTIVE clans are not doing Quests (they are Hunting parties killing PvP or farming Gates). With all of the Clan Wars going on there are a lot of people who have chosen to play without being in a Clan (or created their own Clan) and would not have the same benefits as a 50 member clan. Every clan I have been involved in, has had its inactive players, players that did not PvE, players that do not do Quests, and players who only PvP.

    This being said I do agree we do need NEW Quests to be done and Rewards that are dependent on completing ALL of them to get a SPECIAL reward. But to limit it to only those in Clans and then make it dependent on Activity within is wrong. I would suggest adding more DAILY Quests (with better rewards and less tedious collecting/selling) maybe having an Easy (current Daily's) an Intermediate (killing Bosses in lowers and NPC's of x-5) and a Hard (which would include BK's and Pirates) and a completion reward if you did all 3 Daily Quests (or all available because of level limits) you got an additional reward. Further, there could be an increasing reward (like login Bonus the more in a row you do the higher the reward) including a second Bonus for completing everyday of the week, also increasing, and capping with every one for the Month. This giving an incentive to be active in the game daily (for something other than SkyLab Transfers, G G's, or Hunting), reduces the need for Special Events and their Special Quests, could promote more OUTFIT playing for lower level players (to get stronger NPC's), could even return some map protectors to the game helping the lower level players from being killed all the time.

    The biggest limiter is that fact that you would have to be level 12 to get FULL benefit from all quests (pirate maps), but as level 10 can be achieved within 8 hours of play, level 12 would be accomplished within 32 hours (if doing the Quests instead of boxing all day long). It all depends on the level of commitment from the player to the game.

    Instead of being Clan why not require it to be a group of 5 players (that have not already completed the mission) working together to complete the quest and all members get a special reward for working together. This would mean ALL 5 would have to be in the same map working on the same quest (for the day) and killing the same items (not needing to be on the same NPC but killing something towards the quest. These could still do the stacking like I suggested above for the week and month.
     
  5. You say that players in these clans do other things. Well that's fine everyone plays the game differently. Also I think that ACTIVE clans will make time for these quests. With these clan quest ideas it will help to bring clan members together to share in the quests and rewards. The only people who will miss out are the clanless, these same players miss out on clan credits and help from other clan members, but that's their choice. They might think differently if these clan quests are introduced. Which in my opinion, will only strengthen individual players, clans and the server they play on. It could be the intensive that the inactive players need to be on daily.
     
  6. Okay, you addressed everything except the players who have gotten tired of Clan WARS and is the reason they do not want to be in a clan. Getting players to play together should be the objective, again because the Clans have gone away from helping others to being a way to create PvP targets.

    But then this is why I am a forum inhabitant instead of a game player.
     
  7. At the same time clan members need something that possibly gets them doing something together besides fighting the war and base defense. While giving mixed groups something to do together, they could work together at the other missions that most don't bother with, as I... o_O
