[UI] discounted PET 10 upgrades

With all this 'discounting' happening atm its great BUT the one place that doesn't seem to get any discounting is PET10 upgrades like equipment slots, protocols, generators and lasers.

It would be nice to open a few more slots up and buy some more protocols without it costing the earth.

Can someone 'nudge' the development team in this direct???

Do you think everyone can afford Rebate and prem? for sure no ...

So yea i agree with you they should make it for the under age players who cant pay in this game.

I don't think DO will make a discount without prem and rebate...go get it and you get a permanent slots at 30% off...roughly $9 if you go all in at once.

 

not everyone is willing to throw 9$ at a dieing uninventive game. hate to say it but d,o as a company still seems too greedy. i get they gotta make money but look at supercell and clash of clans.

millions of players, less than 3% spend $, but those that do spend THOUSAND. this game made the mistake of going pay to win

 

At this point in the game, with the reduction of the Hangars to a total cost of Less Than we paid for one Hangar (50,000 Uridium) and some credits. They should have the slots be FREE up to level 8 (when gear and Protocol can be bought level 3) and then from there start with 2 slots credits and the rest being Uridium (but not to exceed what we paid for the first slot bought originally), thus making it so the only thing using Uridium to buy slots would be the Shield slots, as all the others are 1-2 slots from being full open anyway. They do have sales on the Gears and Protocols often enough lately so the player can benefit from these.

Most people with a PET have premium (if they are using Kami-kaze) for free repairs, and it increases the cargo bay and reduces the time for transfers from SkyLab (which increases how much credits you have) so it would only be $2.49 USD for the Rebate, and this is only bought when you have enough Uridium saved up to spend a ton at one time, and if it coincides with a sale you get almost twice the equipment for the same Uridium spent.

NO they made their mistake when they changed from being a game that COULD be accomplished as a FREE player to a game ruled by those who spend money. Had they made changes that would have protected players from BULLIES, when they made the changes, their populations would still be up. Since the FREE players found that all of their hard work was for naught they left the game and have found better more interesting games to play. As such the NEW player coming in has the experience of BULLIES picking on them all the time and no one trying to help them learn the game before they give up on it. The only NEW accounts hanging around are from MULTIPLE account holders who have become bored with the game (on their MAIN ACCOUNT) and created a NEW one for the excitement of being HUNTED instead of the HUNTER, or searching for a better populated server, which is just going to create more issues when D O finally merges servers because they are so dead.

Even if they complete the TUTORIAL/STARTER Missions it does not prepare them for the Same Company Killers that we have running Rampant in the maps today, at least when I started we had people in the maps that would defend us from these attacks and those guilty of the attacks wore TARGETS because their honor was negative, now these players have an enemy attack first then help them to kill the person (just so they do not get the negative honor), when no help should be needed, or they have so much honor built up they don't care about the negative they are getting, especially when they are triple boosted (BO-1, BO-2 and 50% from Uridium Purchase), the legitimate kills can compensate for the negative they do get for killing own company player (if they have not warred their clan already).

D O does need to do something to help keep the few REAL NEW players coming to the game before they are just re-hashed old accounts playing in their game, which is not very far off at this point. Even the Events are becoming re-hashed, undesirable, garbage, that is not generating excitement for their game, or is so full of EXPLOITABLE BUGS that it causes great uproar in the community as the cheaters benefited from the BUG and the legitimate players missed out on it.

 

Its all very well say ' go get prem' but when ammo, boosters, drone formations and the like are heavily discounted and those who spend vast amount on the game can afford to do so, it squeezes other players out because it makes no sense in buying ammo when you dont have the fire power to compete. There must be an alternative for other player. Those that hunt, hunt, those that collect and pop npc's will do that. Extra slots for the PET must be affordable!!!

Thought that was what Hades~Pôšëîdõn‡Tríp suggested when he said "make them Credit for the next 2" after PET got to level 8 (where the slots are all free) and then the Shield Slots and Protocol Slots (the only ones more than 2 to be purchased) and set the price at 1,000 uridium increased by 1,000 per slot to a total of 7,000 for the last slot needed for Generators (which would be 1,000 less than level 9 as Hades~Pôšëîdõn‡Tríp said). Thus LIKE the Hangar pricing you spend the same as the FIRST Uridium Slot is now and you have all of them PURCHASED, is this suggestion not affordable enough for you? OR are you the whiner that wants everything handed to you on a silver platter and would complain because it was not GOLD?

Hades~Pôšëîdõn‡Tríp made an observation that the players using Kami-kaze mode on the PET (which really helps when dealing with the trash collected killing Sibelon's or Devolariums) are already paying for Premium (save to buy once a year = $5 a month) and then to save when buying the slots, generators, guns, upgrades, ammo, or whatever else you want to do with your Uridium spend $2.49 and get the Rebate Advantage and save the additional 25% along with the percentage OFF offered by D O at that time which could equal as much as 50% savings (5% Premium, 20% D O, 25% Rebate) and get twice the quantity for the same Uridium spent. This is only good economics and is not something I would suggest doing all the time as it would require you to buy Uridium to make it feasible for a constant purchase but during an EVENT when you know there are going to be sales is a perfect time to do so or if the Upgrade Bonus Hour is happening is also good (even though this does not stack the 25% with the 30% from Prem/Rebate but gives you 47.5%). If you are planning on buying 10 BO-2 why not buy the rebate and Premium for when they are discounted and get 20 instead?
