In my honest opinion I believe that having Dark Orbit as a downloadable client instead of having it browser based would help solve some issues with lag and etc. I don't have a great reason as to why you guys should switch to a Downloadable client for Dark Orbit but I'm sure that some people have reasons. I've seen a lot of talk around the chats in Dark Orbit about having a downloadable client, So I'm here to hopefully pull out some of those people to put their opinion as well.

Also if you (Dark Orbit) do decied to make a downloadable client make sure to have it for Mac <3 :D

  2. Yea, I agree with you, making it downloadable would help improve the FPS for a lot of people.

But as usual, this idea has been suggested thousands of times. I don't think BP has mentioned it yet, but I hope to see it ^u^

By the way, you can't have polls in the Update & Idea Section of the forums

  3. The major advantage of a downloadable client would be the current status of Flash no longer an add-on in many browsers. The many crashes of the unstable Pepper Flash (used by many browsers now) is part of the issues seen currently in the game (lag and freezing). By having a download access point this would remove the machine being used from the causes of distress. Basically the access program would turn your computer into a TERMINAL ONLY machine while it is active, thus removing any third party software form being used and thus clean the game up from the multitude of bots being used currently.
