[UI] Event Idea

A letter event npcs on all maps drop letters save the letters for rewards.

how it could work--- NPCs in a map will drop certain letters to collect all the letters you will have to hunt in every NPC map. To make more noob friendly can rotate letter/npc at daily reset.

idea for word is DARKORBIT

rewards--
mini lotto same as hitac but smaller prizes DO adjust spell out darkorbit to buy a ticket for lotto this will be easy to do and all can partake in the lotto hence smaller prizes cause there is going to be a lot of tickets

also can turn in combos of letters for rewards say 100 spins for 5X DARK-- 5 Ds and 5 As ETC...
the possibilities are endless for what the offer for letter combos logdisks, rockets, ammo,......


2 important points
the letters need to revolve daily to put noobs in a place to be able to collect all letters if not every letter every day

something to save for running the event in the time span have hard to reach items costing 1000 of each letter to get a good item this # needs the most adjustment as you want the letters to drop enough for players to partake in the combo rewards but can obtain the #s needed to get some cool item i would like to see havoc, herc or lf4 that would be a good step forward for do on helping players get to UFE

edit = another point this does not herd everyone to a single target to make it a killing ground will send pilots to all corners of the map tho should be fun

Venom~kilzs the idea is good but too much like Hitac Event and no one wants to do Hitac as it is a lousy event for non UFE players. The fact you want UFE Equipment as rewards for newbs is nice but is not going to be implemented as there would be too many Wallet players to complain as they had to work too hard to get these and now they are being given away for free.

The fact that you say the letters are dropped in EVERY NPC Map you have eliminated all players that are not level 12 from participating as they can not access x-8 map until then and would not be strong enough to fight in Uber maps which would be the 9th letter as x-1 maps are not allowed for higher than level 8 players, and everyday being different letters being dropped means not all players would benefit either because not everyone can play everyday.

This needs thought out better and presented more completely before going much further.

 

this is why the letters that the npcs drop rotate everyday of the event so it might take a few days but the letters can be collected even by a low lvl stuck in lowers. a lot would complain about ALT ships being able to ruin the lotto but the work deters the scammer and the lotto is a secondary added on the event the real event is the letter combos. new players and old will have something to spend the letters on if the rewards are worth it and DO don't screw it up with r-310s i guess noobs need them even when i was little i never used them always bought the better

hitac event is a great event if the fact that all it amounts too is a killing ground for noobs this event gives the noobs a great chance at a small lotto if that's what they want to spend their letters on plus other combo prizes. the fact that noobs don't need to corral to the UFEs killing boss fixes everything wrong with hitac

as for the elite equipment that's really just the icing to get a flux of players to return for the event if they put awesome events out you seen as well as i have the maps suddenly get people on them this is why needs a balance can obtain one item in event time but it will be one hell of a grind and the wallets that complain never had to work so hard for any of their equipment

most letter events in other games are just a grinding event more time you put in the better the results of corse the established players have a easier time in all games but noobs need the chance too and other games include the new player in events for other than fodder
