[UI] Friends

I was thinking today, I know that could be dangerous

We have RED tags for clan wars, we have Green tags for Alliances & we have Orange tags for NAP's.

What we don't have is an identifier for our friends on the map who are in our "Friends" list.

Yes we can open the friends list and see who is in the map but when things get going in PVP it's hard to distinguish certain names. I thought of this because recently I smoked a few friends totally by mistake. Yes they are on opposing companies but their still friends I prefer not to target & generally help. Makes me feel bad. I go on the chat and apologize but I'm thinking there could be some type of identifier for friends to help avoid this.

I'm not sure what it would or should be but I think this is an idea worth looking into.

Perhaps some of the players here could suggest a type of identifier on the ship name or something, maybe a green dot to the right of the name or something, I'm not sure.

Good Idea. But what is NAP's? I rarely play PvP, but know your friends is helpful.

NAP is that Orange clan tag you see. NAP = Non Aggression Pact. Means the clans who have an NAP have agreed to not shoot at each other but are not obligated to help as apposed to a Green tag Alliance. Alliance mean the clans who have alliances agree to help each other on the maps, be it wars or just doing NPC's.

I like Full Throttle ideas. I have a friends list, but I can't remember who is who on my list. I have friends across the board and it would be nice to know where they are and maybe fly together too.
