    Hi there, I would like BP/DO to enable players to have their 6 rings back or the triangle perhaps instead of the crown and I hope Devs and the peeps in charge really look into this. I spoke to a CM and he said it's hard coded but hopefully I have better luck getting through to you all.
    Thanks anyways , hope you really can do something as I know many players including myself will love this as it will really give us a little bit of freedom, If it were up to me I'd give away the Saturn for the 6 rings :)

    Why do you want the rings back. The rings let players know, "oh, this player has only done an alpha gate and no other for the past year that I have seen the ship." I am not saying there is anything great about the crown mind you but it is the ultimate visual goal for gates. At the same time, the rings and the crown are more bragging right items like rank. People figure out who you are based on how much they see you in maps or chat. In the map, we can see what designs you are running (havok, herc, demon), and/or visual designs. Are rings, crowns, and rank really necessary? Who really has time to look at that mess while fighting or running for your life?
