  1. In DO players grow, most players play this for years, so it is simply imesurable the difference between a veteran and a recently joined player. And as time goes by the difference is bigger. It is harder and harder for someone to start to play this game from the begginning. Every year there are new things to learn, every year the player base is stronger.
    So not only is the game more complex, the game is also "harder" because of other players desperate to kill newbies since it is a rarity for them.

    I would like to suggest the creation of a server with the following ethic:
    -every 1 or 2 months the players present in that server will be merged with other server;
    -alternatively players change to a "main" server after 1 or 2 months of playing;


    This way actual new players can focus on learning the game and progressing (being able to participate in events, which are dominated by UFEs right now, and no one should dare to get close to them) without the worry of dying to a player they couldn't even fadom to match. It takes months and months for a player the even be full LF4s. Then the upgrades.. etc. Even the skylab takes at least 1 month to max out.

    Giving new players a little break would be the minimum BigPoint should do, since they designed a game where the power ceilling is so high and progression is sooo slow (and so bugy).
    I mean there might be a reason we see so litle (if any) new players. Everyone that tries just gets stuck before lvl 11 unless they already know the game or they have a friend to help them.
     
  2. The game needs a complete rework to balance everything out again.

    The grind needs to be speed up by a lot, by making NPC's a bit stronger and give a lot more rewards.
    Also giving them different behavioral patterns and some more "special powers" would be nice too (like the slow from the mordon, the emp from saimon or the confuse ray from the Boss StreuneR, etc...)
    Uber and Boss Krissos could also freeze u for 2-4 sec
    Uber and Boss Sibelon could infect u for 10-15 sec
    Uber and Boss Lordakium could have the Explosive Charging blob
    Just to give us some more variety in PVE and make it less boring.



    Beginners should be getting way more than just 3 L-3, 2 BO2 Shields and 2 G3N-7900 to start with.
    It's ludicrous that those Items are still the only things a beginner gets when starting the game.

    They should at the very least get a Leonov with 6 LF-3, 6 Speed-gen's and 6 Shield-gen's and the Slot-CPU-4 for more extras.
    Maybe even 1 or 2 Iris drones from some quests as soon as they reach level 10 (or 12).


    But like I said, the game needs way more than just some slight changes to the NPC-AI or more support for beginners.

    It needs a complete rework away from the P2W-formula, back to the F2P-formular it had back in 2006-2010.


    Otherwise there is no hope for the Game, even if they fix the bots, the MCC, the MCCA, the sometimes unjust pushing bans, the Bugs, etc etc etc
