[UI] Honor/clan changes.

    Okay, so there's a major problem with clans now, that being that clans can get a huge number of members from various companies, then totally bypass the company killing giving you negative honor thing by declaring war on literally every clan. Also, you'd have to kill someone so many times you'd both get banned for pushing in order to lose enough honor for it to matter, so people of the same company feel perfectly okay killing members of their own company, then you end up having to leave the map so you don't get banned for pushing for coming back and dying repeatedly, rather than them just becoming an outlaw and losing all their firepower so you can shoot back and win. (At least that's my worry) Then even if they come back so much you have to leave the map you can leave knowing they became an outlaw over it.

    Here's my solution, first off, set a limit to how often a clan can declare war on other clans, say, one per two weeks (Has an example), that way they can declare war on clans they actually have legitimate problems with, but can't declare enough clan wars to bypass the negative honor from killing their own company by just being at war with everyone.

    Next of all, make the penalty for killing your own company a LOT steeper, make it so you lose serious honor for killing a person of the same company even 1 or 2 times. And make it scale with how much honor they started off with so that they can't simply have so much honor that they can get away with it.

    The next idea is to make honor something pilots will care about for reasons other than rank, make it so that the limit for how much promerium and stuff can be worth is more than 1000 credits each which is what I think it's at now. And maybe make some ores worth uridium too after you get enough honor. I don't know about most people, but I usually ignore cargo boxes because the amount of credits I get from it isn't enough to be worth the time flying back to the base. Unless of course I have a quest for cargo from destroyed ships, in which case I'll just cloak next to a person cubing, then when they leave the cargo (They usually do), it will turn takable and I just take it when they fly away. And if they do take it then I just wait for them to kill a bunch more cubes until they run out of cargo room and start leaving them.

    Anyway, this should solve a lot of the problems in the game. :)
     
  2. There are major issues with your ideas.
    1. The major loss of honor for same company killing, accidental attack when clicking a friendly to Chat or Invite to Group can be costly.
    2. The fact that D O has changed the length of WAR to 100 days instead of 10
    3. Most people leave cargo because they are not interested in the Credits and if they do collect them they use Cargo Trader (level 3 = 30 second transfer) or Trade Drone instead of having to fly to base.
    4. The MCC's will always be an issue and until Company Loyalty becomes important again they will remain in the game either as they are now or via Alliances/NAP's between Clans
    5. The value of Ore is based on your Honor up to the maximum of 1000/unit of Promerium and after buying everything to FE your ships and buying all ships in Auction you really do not need the credits any further.
    What I see unless they return the Loyalty to the Company there is nothing going to stop the issues you want to correct. The best way to correct this is to increase the enjoyment of the game, decrease the Bugs/Glitches in the game, remove the LAG seen on many of the servers, make sure everyone can enjoy Events (not just the UFE/MCC clans). These changes would help to return the populations to the servers and allow the removal of cheating bot users from the game without too many issues being caused with loss of revenue.

    My idea wasn't to completely solve the problem, it was to at least partially stop it. To be honest I don't think multi company clans are ever going to be not allowed, DO has too much freedom to do what you want for that to happen, so waiting for that has no point, what are they supposed to do if they make 3 clans, one for each company, then just agree to help eachother without a pact, just using words? (Assuming they prevent you from pacting other companies) ban all of them? I don't think that's DO's style. this was supposed to be a comprimise that I think DO will actually allow.

    Also, for 1., if it's an accident, just stop shooting. Has for 2., that's a simple enough fix, just reduce the war time. Has for trade drone, if you mean the pet thing, if I'm correct it forces your pet to stay out for a good amount of time after you use it, so it's really hard to use, 4, this is to create company loyalty, and it will help because if they can't invade with their entire clan, but only the members of other companies, then it becomes company vs company anyway regardless of the clan they're in, and with the server merge soon there will be enough people for that to matter because there will be enough people to defend their own maps. And has for not needing credits, that's why I suggested adding uridium to it has well.

    And who knows, maybe they should add a whole bunch of other rocks that do other stuff, sort of like palladium only they give different stuff, neither gate spins or credits or uridium.

    The point is that this is at least something.

    The only thing that will stop MCCs is to just make clans company loyal. Meaning the if you start a clan while in vru the only members that can join are vru and if you try to start a clan with a noob ship have ppl from a certain company join and swap companys the clan automatically gets disbanded. The whole losing more honor won't work because lets say you are vru. There is a MCC vru member flying by you but you are not at war(not at war yet). They will just call an eic or mmo member to shoot you first then the vru MCC member will help shoot you down and they won't lose anything.
