  1. We all know DO has had the second hotbar as part of the premium package but something i`ve been wandering here recently is why with all the new ammo types, cpus and formations is it still a payment only feature.

The game requires much more key strokes per second to even pvp and get a kill. Now there is this new quickslot hotkey bar for items we may not use as much but may need later.

The idea its self is pretty obvious now.The second hotkey bar should be a non payment feature as the game requires many types of ammo and now formations to even have a decent hunt or a good defense to hunters.

This is the only game ive ever seen that requires to to buy premium to use more hotkeys, a feature like that shows new players that full potential is only acquired if you spend money on premium to have an adequate response time.

i liked your idea but why if you are not premium just have 1 tolbar and the second not compleat just the halph of it avilabale and if you are premium you get the second halph on the second bar

  3. With the addition of the Pro-Action bar for the PREMIUM also, a premium player has 1-0 quickslot (everyone has this), F1-F11 quickslot, and Shift1-Shift0 (Pro-Action Bar). Thus being Premium has 3 times the available easy access changes to their game. If the Pro-Action bar is active (using "Shift" key) then the number keys is all that needs to be used but deactivates upon use unless set to remain open (in settings tab).

Your request, though not out of line, will not be listened to as this is a Pay to Win game and the FREE player has NO input as to what the game is going to be (just look at the number of ideas to retain the FREE player in the game that are ignored). The bottom line is the wallets that enjoyed their status (during FE game era) have not been as happy during the UFE changes and have left the game (they thought their investment in the game was over to find they had to invest even more than before) and with this loss of revenue they are trying to get NEW players to reach into their pockets and gain the extras that are available.

An active player spending $200 (US servers) a year could gain so many benefits, this would be annual Premium ($5 a month bought at one time), Doubler Advantage (6.5 times @ 17.99 for 8 weeks) and Rebate Advantage ($2.49 weekly) when Upgrade Bonus Hour hits. The premium increases the credits generated from SkyLab transfers by increasing the cargo space and reducing the time to transfer along with allowing auto-refining and the additional quickslot spaces, the D A for increasing the collections from the Bonus Boxes (including the Event Special Boxes) increasing the Uridium for upgrades and ammo purchases, and the R A is used to get the major discounts when spending the Uridium you have collected (U B H is 47.5% total discount, Galaxy Gate Materializer can be up to 60% {13-30 % off on sale days} off, and additional 30% off other discounted "%" {usually 15-30% sale} items). A frugal spender could even buy 990,000 (1056000 if cc saved on file) Uridium with $100 purchase on Mega Happy Hour and using for U B H and G G M (when reduced to 40 uridium a spin) the G G could actually be built for free (lucky players) when the gate has been completed and reward issued and upgrade all of their Drones, BO-2's, Rocket Launchers (HS-2's), and LF-4's (won from G G's) then with the FREE BK-100's from the gates and quests might even be able to build the Apis and Zeus drones free from Booty Chests (do not build Apis before Zeus parts are full) without having to buy Uridium again. This "investment" in the game could give a years worth of enjoyment and the LUCKY could even create a UFE ship during this year of playing, which is what everyone is striving to become and complaining because they can not get there.

And if this was repeated could have Hangars full of UFE ships equipped just waiting to be flown for different things in the game (PvE, Pally, Boxing, PvP, Spaceball, or Capture the Beacon, etc) and as you would already have most of the equipment upgraded would only have to upgrade NEW items bought/earned thus allowing you to build more G G's to win more LF-4's or drone designs (needed for the other hangar-ed ships). Set aside $300 for the first year purchases and then save $25 a month for the next years purchase and play the game like a UFE wallet spending $1000's.

Why would they change it, its obviosly money maker for them so it will very surely stay like it is. 6€ per month for premium is cheap........

  5. People dont buy premium for the hotkeys, people buy premium to use kami on gates and farm uri.And combined with rebate you can make good progress on discount events just from farming npcs or gates.Years ago 2 hotkeys really were not needed but now we have somany things to use we need 3 hotkeys to make the best of it while 2 would be the happy medium.

Many players are F2P at times but often they buy uri, premium, or the limited packs listed in the extras. So everybody at one time or another puts money in the game. Its bogus to make premium the only way to have more hotkeys and the game is literally fixed to make you want that other hotkey where as you hit a key and get affect with hotkey when you want it,you would hope the options you choose actually take effect while your changing formations or ammo types on the selection tab whether your sitting still or in a fight your not guaranteed every option will take affect when you click it.

So with the second hotkey added to all accs by default premium would still have its value as its used for somany things meaning DO would not lose profit. But it would be nice to know that your years of game play and money spent actually meant something instead of seeing that without spending money on premium even your response time is greatly limited.

DO stated wanting to make a balance between paying players and free players well this would be a start.
