[UI] i think it's time for an actual change

My dearest DO developers

Destroyed drones are pain in the bum specially when they're fully upgraded or either zeus or apis. you know how much uri we spent on that destroyed drone? A lot. you know that feeling when the drone repair bugged so u lost 2-4 drones and feels it's the end of the world and u just wanna quit DO for good. DO don't want that right? why not do something about it?
-why not remove the drones repair
-or make drones like pet ( they get destroyed but nothing lost )
*but the level resets to 1 or whatever u wanna do to make DO players grind for more

Excellent idea, if I were to lose all my drones I would for sure quit DO for good.

An additional benefit would be that the DO support team would suddenly have a lot of free time on their hands to handle REAL issues now that that 90% of their job is gone. These employees have been laughing all the way to the bank on payday for years now, their job restoring drones is so simple I wouldn't be surprised if they play golf in their office all day as they have no actual deadlines.

Time to cut costs and increase profits DO.

 

If a cpu were to in-fact bug out support could see that in the game and return your drones to you. But if you slap that cpu after the pop they see that too. Atm drone rep cpu is like insurance for your drones. And if you dont let the cpu keep repairing your drones , do that part yourself and the cpu should just remain at max charges till something bugs and drones take more dmg than they should which is where that cpu will save you.

But an update to current drone dmg system should be overhauled as they are basically premium items since there is nothing better than them.

This can be spun many ways where drones lose a charge and become Un-operational and require x amount of rep creds to recharge but knowing DO they would choose a new form of fuel. Shoot they can even add a function to charge drones up by killing a certain type of npc once per day, or once a week maybe even a map specifically to charge drones kinda like a limited gate to x amount of time so it can give small uri boost and not be spammed for spoils of war.
