[UI] I want all paid players nerfed

I want to enjoy shooting at the ufe's once you reset their upgraded lf4s and shields to level 1.
Only reset UFE's to level 1
This will give me and other players who are still on FE or partial UFE a chance to pop them more than they us.

They can afford to pull out there wallets and purses and pay you (BIgPoint) more money to re-upgrade their laser and bo2's again to level 16.

Well this is a little harsh, but the way the UFE SPAM kills the noob/FE is getting out of hand. I worked hard to get FE and was able to defend/run to safety but with the new changes to the game I have gone back to popping every time I turn around. When I pop to the same player 5 times when trying to complete a quest there is something out of balance in the game. I am not upset about being popped I am upset to being popped by the same person every time I leave port and start attacking my target.

 

maybe but when you've seen some of the other posts this guy has put up "i want vengies/pusat/spear to lose 20 speed" because he like to use a goli... no... the same as ufe, if you can't compete, then just play early mornings or late nights until you can... even if you have to swap servers. GB1 is dead and is in need of new players, we'd gladly accept new players lol
Sure, we have our UFEs but we have plenty of UFEs that help others hit UFE on all 3 companies

 

Okay I have not seen his other posts. I do believe this is extreme but then I do support a PROTECTION for the lower level players who have NO CHANCE against these Veteran UFE players who are 3 times stronger than the people they are choosing to demolish. The servers are all having problems and it is the changes being made by D O that is causing this, along with the unfair advantage the wallets are getting in completing the EVENTS and preventing the noob from being able to participate in the Event. Take the missions for today damage an ICY METEOROID, assuming you find one, there will be a dozen UFE attacking it and another half dozen popping the noobs trying to "LEACH" off the kill. This assuming we can even get a lock on it and fight it without lagging out so bad you are not even keeping up with its movement.

 

yeah true but then they would just set up DDMs all over the place to provoke FEs into attacking them. however, a protection for players can be seen during the tutorial. you can box up until you do the tutorial for protection if i remember right and can even do it in X-1 and X-2 maps so you could technically get to ufe before you finish the tutorial, provided you don't want to rush your game

 

thanks for the laugh this is about the most selfish thread i've seen in a long time. the funny thing it wouldn't turn out the way you planned yeah it would close the gap a little but a ship with all lf4s lvl 1 can still take out multiple FE ships this would be like every noob in the game kicking the hornet's nest you think it would help you but the UFEs would just hunt all easy targets even harder.

my advice play your game smart if there is a UFE hunting lowers X4 map don't just go to X3 map and think they are not sweeping that map too take quests that you can go to different areas uppers and lowers sooner or later you will finish the quests. As for event quest like ice meteoroids yes the are a coral event you should expect to get popped as ufe are going to hunt these once again try different maps find a map with strong players in it and hope they will take care of your problem for you if you get attacked at an event don't run shoot them yeah you going to get popped but now the other players can attack the ship without chasing the UFE chasing you half way across the map. if one player attacks a ufe a lot just trying to survive but if a few players attack you see most will jump on the bandwagon

 

Go shoot ufe's no one is stopping you, maybe ufe's are over powerful but they have spent hard earned uri for the privlage. Demanding that hard hitting players should be downgraded is never going to cut any ice. The idea of an idea of an update and idea thread is for constructive ideas on how to make the game better and not to throw a tantrum and throw your toys out of your pram.

IF you were not targeted as a BOTTER this would be fine but rumors have it that IF you are boxing only all the time you are rounded up as a BOTTER and banned.

Well in theory it sounds good. In reality the people will sit there and watch you get popped and not engage to help, I don't understand it but I have never been able to get anyone to attack an enemy that is attacking me. Matter of fact I was attacked by an enemy and he was not very strong and before I knew it I was being attacked by my own company, and NO they were not from the same clan so it was not protecting a clansman, only after I popped the guy did they tell me the guy was their friend but this did not stop them from continuing to attack me. When I asked for help they just laughed about it and said those clans do not do that, but as they were allowing the enemy to fire first he had the red lock so I could never post the "friendly" kill for proof.
The idea of having quests for different maps is nice but if you are not level 12+ this does not work as you can not access all the other maps, and again are you strong enough to take the assault of the SK/LK and BSK/BLK of the x-6 and x-7 maps? I usually take quests of different things in one map so everything I see can be killed and apply to a quest that is open.
However, I am not a fan of making the UFE lose their upgrades just prevent how many times you get killed by the same player in a days activity, or prevent them from hunting the lower level players in the home maps (x-1 to x-4) this does not protect ALL players and does not prevent the same level enemies from attacking in those maps but it does make the fight a FAIR fight, instead of a UFE attacking someone off a Sibelon with one config gone and ready to die, they can not attack them as their level is too high to attack the noob working hard to improve himself. Back in the day, before the Pirates, you could get a group together to do things, now if you get a group together you find they are not even in the same maps, thus you are grouped up but not able to get any help.

If a UFE needs to HUNT noobs as they are so chicken to fight their own strength, then let them hunt in the Battle Maps or in the Pirate Maps not the lowers.

 

you seem to forget that there are quests of many kills in enemy maps, what do players do to complete these?? look for other ufe's in the same map and take forever to complete them??

 

the problem DO has is the bots there are some that will bot 24/7 with a noob account until they collected enough uri to become UFE if the account gets caught they just start a new one until they get one through the system. this is not our fault and DO battles them just today over 700 got banned.

reputation is a huge factor of getting groups together i might fight a few players all night then the next night shoot uber BKs with them respect is earned not gifted

as for your own company attacking you that part of the game now i feel they should still lose honor not be saved by an EXPLOIT (yes i look at this as an exploit)but you got to choose your battles. a couple of ways you can handle this terrorize these players and make enemies in your own company which will make your game much harder, switch companies or just accept that some people are not loyal at all and go find something to kill. Hunting in your own maps is a road to drama i have always said but i still do it HAHAHA gots to defend

i'm very close to UFE being a free player only buying premium i have worked on it for a couple years been through the grinder getting popped every 5 mins i'm logged in now i still check my drones every day on login a habit lol and you feel pretty good when a week goes by and i'm only at 5% all that work has payed off. now that's a npc grinding week a hunting day very different or if i'm helping peep with a base i still pop quite often but i go in psycho mode a lot during these cause getting popped is just part of the game

 

Paid players sponsor this game...take that away and you will play? There is a price to be paid...you have yet to cough up a slight - therefore you have no say.

 

yeah downgrade them i'm f2p and I want to catch up. I support.

 

xuhu99, if you put the time into this game you'd reach UFE in no time. plenty of the UFEs on my server are f2p and when you get to know them it's pretty obvious that they don't spend; they sit at cubes all day making 30k uri an hour. supporting this will get you nowhere as if Bigpoint reset the accounts of UFEs, they will lose 300+ players on 90% of their servers and the dying servers will become dead. another thing that would happen is bigpoint would go broke from all the lawsuits filed for resetting a paid for account. all the P2P players would need to do is show their bank records and bigpoint would be forced to repay it, each and every amount spent from ammo to uri and designs. This is why this won't happen.
Please, by all means attempt but by doing so you will be killing a dying game and won't be earning any friends among the community in doing so

You want to take away the time and or money that we all spent to get to ufe? lol, you work your way up, life doesn't adapt to how you like, what you're saying is like asking Apple to just start over with a single dollar - it's rude, unnecessary and slightly amusing all at once. I bet all my savings if you were UFE you wouldn't have even thought of this idea.

 

No they can hunt in the Upper Maps all they want, it is the Lower Maps I am asking to get the protection for, these players are often not even strong enough to solo a Sibelon and they are being attacked by a UFE using x-4 ammo double boosted, sepped and could actually kill the player using x-1 ammo.

I understand the reputation thing, I also have a problem with D O allowing different versions of the same name in the game (I am not talking about the 1,2,3 for the player wanting the same name on his noob account as his main) I am talking about a name like "¶ÅlîèñΩΗûñtërΦ" who has been in the game for years (started in 2010) and then there is "ALIENHUNTER" and "alienhunter" all on USA West and one of these is a BOTTER so it is brought up in chat and all 3 of us are botters, I play as "¶ÅlîèñΩΗûñtër2Φ" as I was brought into the game by the original (yes I am trying to ride on his coat tails we both have the same game ethics, do not fire on unless fired on, kill NPC's and help MMO get stronger) this because I was not getting anything from the original name (the forum name) helping where I could and asking for help when I needed it and this ended up being a real waste of time asking.

I agree it is an exploit just because you do not have red lock you do not lose honor for attacking same company player, if you are firing on them and they are not firing on you and they pop then you lose honor period end of discussion. But this is not the way the game is set up long as you do not have the red lock you do not get penalized and there is no proof to post that they were firing on you, oh I forgot you could shoot video and post it to YouTube, if you knew how to do all of this, along with trying to defeat the enemy attacker, save your ship, start a video, avoid SMO-1 mines and everything else and then get people to go to the (oh I forgot can't post links in chat) link to view video.

And actually I am beginning to think it is safer to do missions in enemy territory as the UFE Hunters are in our maps and not in their own maps protecting their noobs.

 

in that case i would suggest a removal of the amount of uri bought for irl $$ and their premiums. I don't want to take their time.
