[UI] Instead of random chance (probabilities)

    There are many things based on luck (random percentage) in this game. I was thinking that maybe there is a way of avoiding that, at least in some cases where it doesn't make much sense.

    -Galaxy Gates. How about an auction. Where the currency is Uridium; you can only bid a certain amount of times at a time and you cannot have duplicated parts. However, if you're outbid, you are not returned the Uridium. In exchange you are given a corresponding amount of the other things (ammo...) depending on how much you've bidden in comparison with others, stock availability...

    -The hit probability. Maybe it could be set depending on cosmic weather, radiation interference and radar power. For example: on a map with many asteroids, many ships and most importantly if you are camouflaged (your ships radar should be turned off so others can't see you but you can't detect them either unless it's direct eye visual) then your chances of hitting are close to 0%. If however you have clear sky, clear map and your radar at maximum power then you shouldn't miss too much (downside of radar at maximum is that others can detect you from greater distance). Also other factors that I'm sure you've already considered.

    -Upgrades. The probability, besides on how much you're paying, should also depend on your research, knowledge and technologies. Meaning that a higher SkyLab, experience, having traveled a lot and killed many aliens... all these should increase the chances of a success upgrade at a lower cost.
     
  2. Um... No? The bots and the wallet warriors would be the only ones benefiting from this.

    The 2nd option is just dumb... That's all I need to say lol

    The 3rd, no, we've had it like this for years, why change it now? It's not hurting anyone lol, you just want it to be easier on you because you're wasting uri on low level upgrades.

    While I definitely agree that there is (way) too much chance involved in the game, I do have some things to point out.

    1. I feel like this will be a 'solution' only for wallet warriors. Not getting your uridium back also adds a risk (read chance) to loose your uridium, in which case your not only not receiving any galaxy gate parts but also no ammo or other items that you would normally get from the GGG.

    2. I actually like this one, especially for laser damage, the fact that you hit or miss a shot can be a major game changer in any fight.

    3. I feel like the only thing that needs to change is the amount of upgrade hours and perhaps the duration. Once every for weeks just makes the process extremely boring, forcing you to wait and hold on to your uridium.
