[UI] Item Renting

Renting equipment is not really a good idea. If you can just rent LF3s or B02s, then what's the point of buying them on auction or saving up uridium to buy them? Same with allowing clan members to borrow equipment from friends. If you make renting equipment cheap, all new players would do it and just skip having to buy FE equipment, if you make renting equipment expensive then players will not even rent equipment and you might as well never have put it in the game. While the idea is supposed to help new players, it is an extremely hard idea to implement in any balanced way.

 

Thank you for the clarification and respect you gained a little from me also. The only issue I see with this is the Clan leader who is less than respectable (like the one I have mentioned) who creates a primary account that causes a ton of problems with the company and other clans and then has 45 other accounts in his clan that he jumps into when he has been chat banned or has lost his drones because he got popped so much and forgot to check their damage, rents his equipment to these other accounts to make them FE for a certain length of time to aid them in getting higher rank than they can get with his play time of them.

Legitimate clans that are TRUE helping clans are few and far apart and this system should be limited to clans that accept ALL levels of players and must have 50% of members less than level 16 players. Clans that want FE members should not be allowed to create this sharing bank as all it is being used for is to equip secondary ships for warping into.

I still say this is not a good system to add but do understand how it could make some new players hang around a little longer if they were able to use it, but then they would have to be able to get credits from the clan to rent them as they are using the credits as fast as they earn them to bid on permanent items in auction.

 

There's always going to be a ' Spoiler ' that is sad. I do run a clan with lvl 5 thru lvl 21 players , folks from different servers , different countries , multi languages , ages from 12 to 63 . military vets, handicapped. so yea it's tough trying to mold/harden these clumps of
coal into diamonds
