Why do we have Euros?

I read somewhere that they were originally to be used as a rebate. To give us users something back. I know I have spent more than I thought I ever would. On items that still doesn't help me survive.

If the rebate is dead. How about letting us use it as money so we can buy what we need or want. I know the founders want cash, and gods know I have paid plenty to them. Sometimes I wish I never met this game when I think of the money I spent. I have dropped a bundle and I'm still nowhere. I could have use the money for something else instead here.

I could use the extra help Euros could give me so why can't we spend them like real money. I keep finding more and more but nowhere to spend them. If we are not going to use them drop them from the game and let the power boxes have something else we might can use.

They were never to be used as a rebate. They used to be for a contest that was filled with cheaters. It will never come back but the new devs have to figure out where the code is to remove them. With all the bugs, pending server merge, and current cheaters, that is very far down the list of things to take care of.

 

Seems like it's something to slow down people from getting things that help them progress in the game. Like, instead of getting that useless in-game cash you could get ammo, uri e.t.c.
Supposedly you will stop getting more of those when you have 10k.

 

There have been many suggestions as to how WE, the player, could use these useless items (many felt they were never any good as only the top 10 of all servers were strong enough to even attempt to compete in the Jackpot Arena). Then the Cheaters came along and decided they needed the money more than the legitimate player and D O removed the feature (tabling it to see what they could do to remove the cheaters) until further notice. To decide there are too many other issues in the game that affect many more players than the J P A did. I would suggest making them into VOUCHERS to be used to BUY items from the Payment System, which we can not buy in shop, this would exclude items like advantage packs (Premium, Rebate, Doubler, Weekly Uridium) or Uridium purchases, but would include the special boosters and other in game equipment offered as a Payment Item, including the starter packs.

It might even draw some of the old people back if they could use these funds since the removal of J P A had some very upset. This was the only avenue where they could recover some of the money they had invested in the game until it was removed.

 

A huge number of people only played for that money...I think lots of players invested time and money for nothing- however, it should have been removed with the JPB / JPA arena and forgotten about a long time ago, but it is still lingering which is unfair to the few that are left.

 

There are some interesting ideas.

If I remember correctly, there was a thread with a similar idea. However the exchange price was 10K jackpot = 25€ payment money. Although reaching the 10K jackpot will need a lot of time, buying payment stuff, which you wouldn't ever receive as a free2player, is quite interesting.

You need to collect bonus boxes a lot to reach the 10k. Example I collected today 100 boxes (and will tomorrow do the same because I actually found out the Uridium you get there is actually pretty nice) and received in total 4,75 JPE.

In 100 boxes, I received 13 times JPE, which means I had 13% chance to get JPE in 100 boxes. But I received 0,25 JPE 7 times, which makes 7% chance for 0,25 and 6% chance for 0,50 (as I didn't received any 1,00 JPE). So at rough statistics, you need to collect 210 526 bonus boxes to reach the 10k of JPE. This does not mean anything, as some people might turn out to have more luck than I did + there's still the PvP maps where to increase the rewards.

 

The POINT is, this is 13 other items we should be collecting instead. J P A has been OFF the TABLE for over a year with NO intention of bringing it back to life any time soon. People buy the Doubler and fly the 4-x maps getting 3X the normal box value (without PET or BIO added in) trying to collect Ammo, Extra Energy, or Uridium, they do not want to collect Jack Pot Euros when they are useless items to be collected. I have had streaks of Bad Luck and collected 5 J P E in a row, and with the reader scroll issue that I have I don't know that I am seeing everything I am collecting anyway. I usually have the PET collecting the boxes while I kill stuff in the maps and the combination overloads the system where I can go to port, go to the rest room, come back and it still has not caught up.

 

Just bring JPA back without rewards.
or give 150k uri to winner, and title.

 

Yes, that's a good idea...They could also compensate the Euro's with ammo...Then everyone should be happy!
