[UI] Leo Design

Hello,

I was wondering why there is no designs for leonov, it costs uridium

why not have an elite design that can extend the leo's capabilities to the upper-maps or adds experience or honour

that would be fun!

 

because of the homefield advantage they deem it overkill to give it a design

 

Your pic is a nice design OP. It could be a design for looks only is the only way I could agree. No - to exp or honor in uppers - just for lowers only. It is already a terror in the lowers anyways. Get ready to own/farm Boss Sibs if this happens.

 

I don't think it's a terror that much, cuz when you see a surgeon moving out in space with 180k dmg of x4 & RSB-75 Combined, then he really kills you in seconds max

Leo's power yes! but she still needs some kinda boost somehow to be able to contest against other elite ships/designs

 

Back in its day the leo was a though nut to crack and a FE leo could take down most ships that dared to invade its home maps, with all the boosters lf4's the surgeon and pusatt doing hit and run the leo as become a little lame and is no longer a PvP ship but an alien hunter a very good alien hunter, I think maybe a little more speed could be added with a new skin to give it a chance to run if needed and when leaving home maps the skin becomes just cosmetic thus keeping the leo with home maps only enhanced powers.

 

I like the idea of expanding its capabilities to all maps from a design not just the lowers.

That would be nice yeah, but for the balance just the uppers and not pvp or pirate maps

If this to come true, I'd buy the design right away even if it costs 300k U.

Well it depends, I guess uppers will be enough
We just don't wanna push it too far, just a design that will do something cool to the leo

Ufe Goliaths deal more damage with LCB than an Ufe Leo with Chevron (except you have Premium), so why not? If the beginners don't have enough LF3/LF4, they can use Leonov to kill some NPCs in the upper maps.
Beside I don't see that much Leonovs even in the home maps....

 

A leo is no longer a terror.You can compare it to the ufe goli on a dmg config that has no engines, if you cant beat it or don`t want to fight it you just go around it, they wont catch you lol.Even the citadel is faster than the leo so this once terror has become a has been sadly.I would how ever like to see its power extended to atleast bmaps where an eic leo gets home bonus in 4-2 and mmo would get bonus in 4-1.

I`d also like to see some appealing designs for the leo as the grey is years old

 

Perhaps a metallic company color and make it's regular bonuses available on all maps.

 

Btw, I'm a leo addict. My PLT-3030 does over 30k dmg with premium and Rocket fusion you can really annoy some people other that UFEs and ofc not considering having all the demon drone design

Sometimes I bait people with it and it works perfectly

 

if something is not done for the old school favorite leo's, they will go the way of the yamato and defcom, and then be a buy for real money ship for nostalgia. b4 the days of hangars my clannies and i had leo accounts that were not even fe, just shootin blues and would roam lowers in a leo pack causing headaches on on goli's that were tryin to hunt noobs in our home maps....aahhh the good ol days, actually so much fun you didnt mind a few ppl dying when the goli's ran away to avoid the hassle. just a bunch of laughter in teamspeak.... return the leo home map masters, and put some fun back in the game that doesn't revolve around rank or game superiority.

 

An interesting idea for any possible skin for this upgrade may be the look of the devolarium ship in x-3 maps.
I've liked their look for a while.
