[UI] Living Captcha Anti-Bot System

    First I will explain which ways a bot work.
    Bots haven't got a brain, they can just find same things.

    1. Select bonus box's a pixel(a color code like #FFFFFF) and let it macro.
    2. Take a picture of bonus box and let it macro.
    3. Analyze java,swf etc. codes with your program and find box's location.

    And.. How can developers stop botting?

    I think they are protected codes so "Way 3" won't work.

    For protect from 1 and 2 we need a "Living Captcha"

    Bonus Boxes should change their size and color every 1-5 mins and bots will stop their work.

This could work but botters would unfourchantly probaly just program all of the new images into their bots and would not work after a while although what they coould do is make slight changes to say the brightness and other things of the box and make them random changes so there wouldnt be any set pictures so there for the bots wouldnt be able to have a set picture to click onto (if that makes sense)

    As this seems like a good Idea unfortunately it wouldn't work entirely.
    Certain pixel bots can Kill NPC's; how do they do this? The image of all the NPC's is inserted in the programming of the pixel bot and the mouse simply follows and clicks on these images.

    Your solution to multiple color differences in boxes after a set period of time is indeed a good idea on a certain level but if all of the different images of bonus boxes are entered into the picture packages the Bot will simply click for example all 5 of your images when seen thus rendering your solution useless...
     
  4. thats roughy what i said and a possible soluting would be to have the game generate box's with diffrent gamma hue and other photo graphics(think thats the right way to put it) and then the game would randomly decide theese factors

    1. I was alerady wanted random effects on boxes(Can't Calculateable Changes)
    2. I didn't add NPCs or Palladium because it can cause lag.

    But NPCs and Palladium can generate normal captchas
    every 50 kills or palladium collects, every 100, every 200... x2
    (if you write correctly it stops "Living Captcha effects" on npc and palladium)
    (if you write wrongly NPCs and Palladiums will change their color, size, name)

    Checkpoint resets everyday and start back from 50 kills or palladium collects

    Players can ignore normal captcha and play their game with "Living Captcha effects" active.

    I like your thread, because it is the only way for stop botting. Peoples can code bots in 5 min *but* there is no way for code a Capthca bot. I mean if you was even coder for 10 year, you cant code a program for solve Capthca.

    and "Bonus Boxes should change their size and color every 1-5 mins and bots will stop their work." will not work, they can put every color to their bots.

    Capthca is required for this game. Example : If you collecting boxes for 1 hour, Captcha will be active for that player. *or* every 100th box that player will see a Captcha. *or* System will put Captcha to a random boxes in a map, who collect, that player should answer that Captcha, if player dont write an answer for 5 min, that player will be disconnected. If that player dont answer for +4 hour ban that player :cool:

    We can see alot of botters in Global servers, Darkorbit should say stop to that players.
