I play Battlestar Galactica Online alot, If you dont know, It's another game made by Big Point.

The Idea is inspired from there.

My idea is make the loot shareable in darkorbit.

    How it works:
You attack an alien to receive a loot. Then other players also start to shoot the alien that you're shooting.

When the alien is destroyed, the one who started to shoot it first will receive full loot. While other players the loot according to the damage they done, like cubicon.

  2. This is why Groups are created you share the rewards of the kill. I personally do not want to share the rewards if someone comes along and arbitrarily starts shooting my NPC. I can and do Solo Cubes and don't get upset because someone comes along to shoot it also because it is designed as a shared NPC, but shoot my BBK to steal some of the rewards that is not right. Ask to be included in "Outfit" or just fly on by I do not want to share a non shared reward NPC when I am killing it on my own. There was a glitch (don't know if it was ever fixed) that allowed the red lock to transfer to assistant even though I never lost red lock and they got the rewards. I have been known to help low level players killing a Boss Sib and if I see I have got the red lock I stop my attack and shoot something else as I do not intend on "stealing" their kill.

I do leave Cargo Boxes for people who help me kill something, if I really needed the help, but don't want to share the rewards if we were not "Outfitted" for the kill.

I like this idea, as if I'm killing something I get the full rewards, but if some random noob comes along and I don't feel like sharing resources, he can just come and get part of the reward without me losing anything.

    +1 from me.
