1: Banning BOTH parties of a "pushing" incident when one player keeps getting offed by his own faction is a pretty HUGE deterrent for this game. Imagine how many more people would support the game if disciplinary actions were ACTUALLY fair. Ex. I'm REALLY tired of flying around 2-2,2-3 as EIC to do missions just to be repeatedly killed off by my own faction members over and over and by the same 1-2 people multiple times.

2: See about doing IP bans instead of account bans. Friend of mine used to play this and said he got banned for being a victim of being "pushed" and they only banned accounts. Banning accounts does NOT keep offenders permanently gone. They can just make new accounts then rinse and repeat.

I'm just saying, you don't see things like someone going up to a person minding their own business then stabbing them then the police throwing both parties in jail. I get that it's a PvP game but why have rules if you're just going to freaking contradict them and punish literally everyone innocent as well.

    Hello,

IP bans are not the solve-all, and ultimately not always as effective as people think. Simply put, there's ways around them and some people are well aware of how to do so. Most of these are temporary bans as anything more permanent would be a reflection of the account offense history, so those people can come back at the end of their suspension - they aren't permanently gone just because they got a pushing ban.

There are cases of pushing where one user may repeatedly destroy another into oblivion for whatever reason, and cases where it's a pure set up or even the same person clearly on multiple accounts popping them for their quests or ranking. Because of this both parties are, and I rather imagine would continue to be penalized accordingly. In either case, if *you* are flying your ship and the same one person is killing you repeatedly - change it up. Don't just respawn on the spot over and over, or at port and immediately fly out again (more people do this in these situations than you might think). Rally your company, friends, clan, maybe even the enemy of your enemy - working together against an enemy can do wonders when people actually do it.

To answer your analogy, you may not really have much of a choice if someone comes up and stabs you. However, in a game where you relentlessly feed yourself to someone, you have a bit more control over that.

This thread isn't really suggesting much other than "change the system", which has been raised before, passed on, and I'm pretty sure there's another active thread touching on this already. Right now the only thing we can do with that is pass it along again and then it's up to the devs and/or game team to discern any changes.

    Regards,
