[UI] Memorial For Fallen Pilots

yep very good idea 1+ from and i am not a youngster
and the account goes to my son ( it should say jackknife Jr.)

 

This made no sense in a few points.

1. If someone passes away, then how the heck does BP find out about it? Its not like BP is part of *gulps*... the... Illuminati ( HEH DONT KILL ME!)

This concludes to locking of accounts, if BP doesnt know about it then account wouldnt be locked and other people can play it and DO would'nt know about it!

2. This is a memorial for fallen pilots, I'd say WTH! fallen pilots? As first point stated, BP dont know if you faked ur passing or did tragically go. The only way it would work is have your account inactive for quite a long while then BP locks it up for inactivity

Maybe this is what you meant? Instead of going inactive, you go into a memorial?

3. A memorial for fallen pilots :c quite sad, as if you combine my 1st and 2nd statement, what happens if you have a bunch of noob accounts that go inactive, then the lists will pile up and up and up. I dont wanna see some noob account with 500 ep or so in the memorial

Maybe we can put memorial pilots who has lots of honor? So people wont be worked up on stealing cargo and shooting own teamsies

This is a +1 for me truely i love the idea of a memorial for fallen pilots (as long as i am remembered when i pass or fake pass in the next 5000 years). All this idea really needs now is a bit of rework and it will get onto the dev's head and it may be seen in game near the distance future.

Try? Haha...You will it! If you want to you can make designs for other that have passed. Yes, it is a great idea.

This shouldn't be in the game because it's not game. This is better for a site on the side of the game, and maybe a link from the forum or game page and that's it. Let everything in the game be a part of playing the game and calculating for the game and not just something stagnant that has nothing to do with the game. Too many glitches in dark orbit to let something that doesn't even have to get in the way just get in the way.

 

If something like this does go through, have the memorial start in the upper base map for the company the pilot was last associated with. Then over a 5 week period, the memorial travels to the x-6, x-5 maps and on to the 4-4 map. Next it shows up in 4-5 and lastly it is relligated to the Graveyard map where it shows as part of the background.
