[UI] Mercenary System

  1. Have you played some other online games that has this kind of option where you can hire an npc to go with you and kill stuff? like on medieval games and such.

    I think a mercenary system can be a good addition to PVP and it will much likely give a good impact on the game if restrictions on shooting noob players that cannot go to the upper maps or is a low leveled player of at least level 12 below is implemented on the game

    Things that Mercenary NPCs can do:

    Fly around with you in space, shoot everything that it sees or shooting you, same as the function of Guard of P.E.T but rather they are more aggressive, you can give a command out of them to not shoot anything else besides what you are shooting, commands should be on a new tab on your upper bars at your screen interface of the game

    Can shoot players, join PVP fights and players or other mercenaries can shoot them back, if they pop, they will go back to base and you have to pay for their repairs of their ship

    Mercenaries wont have drones, as you are powerful enough, they will have their own specific ship and their ship wont be like ours, they will have a specific number of lasers, and shield generators, the problem is what type are those.

    They will be ranked by stars from weakest to strongest, 1 star is the weakest and basic of them all using credit bought items such as mp-1, 5 star are the strongest, weilding only lf3s and bo2s, they can add a Mercenary that has upgraded lf3s and bo2s that will increase their survival and damage to enemies rather it is only in payments, buying it with real money rather than uridium.

    Yes they are hired only for uridium, their ammo will be deducted from your credits on how much volleys they shot, they have their own specific ammo to use and cannot share on your own.

    They will have their own ammo, and that will be stated on the "For Hire" backpage in the future if DO would consider doing it, the ammo cost per shot will be deducted from your credits once they have consumed around 10k ammo such as you buy LCB with a cpu that automatically buys ammo for you. they will also shoot rockets ofc, PLT 2026
    They wont also have x2, x3, x4 because they wont have drones, because their maximum laser slots and shields will be more than ours to be exact so they will have a good advantage too and can take down an FE by themselves if you command them well on what to do.

    Commands are like the same abilities we got on ships, you can put them on your bar.
    before you hire them you will see their abilities that they can use to get advantage in battle, like having insta shield for a duration, or having a barrage of rockets on the enemy, disabling their rocket functions, they wont have other ammo so they will have abilities such as the SAB ammo, x2, x3, x4 damage and RSB. rather shooting volleys of it, they will do it in an instant like SAB, having an ability called "EMP SHIELD" more likely they will use it to only temporarily disable the shielding system so you can shoot their hulls right away, in a matter of seconds their shield would be back and going again.
    x2,x3,x4 and RSB would be called something like "Laser Blast" a concentrated blast of laser that will deal x2 the maximum damage of the mercenary in an instant and will give about a secondary effect that will compromise the enemy's ship capabilities.

    Those are just comparisons to our ammo that they cant use as normal ammo.

    Mercenaries cant be used by low level players until they can go to atleast their own x-8 map and has completed a certain kind of gate, like for the newbies at th start the devolarium gate.

    the gate should consist of npcs the same strength of a full laser goliath without the drones, consist of at least 3 that shoots x1, x2, x3 or even x4 depends on the wave the player is in.

    If you use a cloak, they can also cloak, but rather if they get uncloaked they will stay that way and you have to use another cloak before they can cloak back, you use only 1 number of cloak from your cpu cloak everytime.

    Things Mercenaries cant do:

    Go inside of a Galaxy Gate with you, and cannot use a jump cpu so when you use a jump cpu, there would be a duration where they need to travel through maps to join you on that particular place. its like a similar function of the trading gear of P.E.Ts, they have a duration on when they will be back.

    Cannot gain experience unlike pet, sadly yes they dont need it, they just hired to shoot and kill stuff :) why would they care of that, they just need your payment lol

    They cannot shoot Low level players on lower maps that has not yet attained the level where they can go to their own x-8 maps, even if they havent completed the "Mercenary system" gate but they can go to their x-8 maps they are still be able to be shot by your mercenary.

    If they pop and you didnt repair them (can only use uridium, cannot use repair credits for their ship) they cannot join you in battle, and if you leave them like that for about a day and still haven't repaired them, they will leave and you will have to hire them back.

    not a bad idea, they could have a merc section on base (like a bar hah) where you can hire them! i think if theyre not going to have drones then they should have their own ships that are super tanky, like a mod level ship haha. ok maybe not that glorious, but still, it should be effective enough to make a difference

  4. This is just a complicated P.E.T.. Sounds like a P.E.T. for hire from the ones who don't have the slot/upgrades on their P.E.T. maxed out in various ways. Who wouldn't want an UFE P.E.T. :cool:
