[UI] MERGE GB1!

For a start, GB should never have been given a second server. Even when we were busy, it wasn't big enough to warrant the need for GB2...A lot of GB1 players saw the new English server as a way to get easy/cheap ranks, and so moved away, and GB1 never got the new players that signed up, as they were all sent to populate the new server of GB2.

And look, now both servers are emptying out.

WE NEED BOTH SERVERS MERGING BACK. I have played the game for alot of years now, and am recently returning from a 2-3 month quit period. My server is just as dead as it once was, and it needs changing for the better of our playerbase. As the rights to this game have recently been sold to a new client, the game seems to have alot more deals that have the players at mind, so surely you'd like to improve the game further by utilising this suggestion and creating and active server for our community once again?

It might be a big ask, as some players would complain about rank, but they'd just have to catch back up, they'd get over it eventually - especially with these double gate rewards events.
And what if some people quit? Yeah, it's likely that some would quit due to this, but I feel an active server would also attract alot more new players, and possibly bring back a large portion of the server who quit due to the dying servers.


Why not take another step and merge both GB1/2 with the smallest Global Europe server to make a slightly larger community that would provide a much more enjoyable game for us lot.



I beg that the new team listen to this. Please please PLEASE can we have this possibility looked into for the near future.

its been talked about asked and said so many times bigpoint said they are trying and looking into diff ways of it as a full merge may not work i dont think gb1 and gb2 will work we could do with 3 servers all in one but i would rather have the servers fixed before we see anything like that

 

I have been an advocate of this since day 1000 The maps be as crowded as the NPCs in the maps Re every dot on the way out

 

I gave advice's that DO should make a few servers pve and others pvp you can switch between as you wish this way if players are in the pvp server there looking for a fight not popping npc and being over killed by a group.

 

im all for server mergers but what about ppl who have gb1 and gb2 accounts? would we have to lose an account?

 

As in with the same login... This is something I bring up but have not found answers to anywhere, forums nor twitch. Ships, equipment, ammo, credits, uri... How does it get decided? We were enticed by the selection available, making friends and in a way family on different servers. If they are merged, how much do we loose in the end?
