[UI] Nerf spearhead!

    I would like to talk about the spearhed, as u know this ship is hugely overpowered:

    It as 5 lasers (compare to the only 16 of pussat,14 of the flying cheese, 10 of venge and 7 of nosti)
    It also as 100K live points (compared to only 125k of pussat, 260k of tartarus, 180k of venge and 120k of nosti)
    the generator slots are somewhat balanced
    Now the habilitys:

    jmax: This ability as a minimal recharge time of 3:00 mins (compared to less than a min on tart speed and 3 min from ability ships) and it also does not work for all the abilitys (i think). It also de-clocks u (even from normal clock).

    target marker: From testing i found this ability compleatly op as it actualy lowers your dmg.

    Ultimate clock: This ability is just... 40 secounds of camouflage after just 20 secs of not being hited and a mere 6 min couldown :eek: ??!! who made this?.

    The unknow ability that expands the radar power: I have nothing to say about it

    I have read some threads of people asking to buff this ship and i can fully understand the reasons why people dont whant to buff it (by give it 10 laser for example) as it would become ( for real ) a pvp monster.

    This ship is also pretty cheap just 100M on ge4 or 5M on gb2 compared to 10k credits of goli/venge or the 195k credits of nosti.
    So would u please nerf it? :D

    Sorry but the whole thread seems rather sarcastic.But why should it be nerfed?It totally needs a buff.
    Also,you can get spearhead at ge4 for 20-40m.

    The elite to? Woa I think i gave 130M for mine :confused:.

    But serious now i think it needs 10 laser at least. Also some rework in jmax, the ultimate clock could have 4:30 mins coldouwn and the target marker could actualy work.
    And if u are into it some better description of it in the shop would be nice.

    I only have the normal spearhead which i got for 20m.Maybe i will put 50-60m today for the elite xD.

    Yes it is sarcastic, interesting way to point out problems, although I doubt it will be effective. Darkorbit is not known for rebalancing (which is a big shame). All they will ever do is release new ships which will be better, new lasers which will be better, and for a reason. A rebalance would mean we would instantly obtain the ship. There would be no need to buy it, which could cost bigpoint a lot of money. Nonetheless I really think that this is a bloody shame, tens of succesfull games rely on rebalancing (such as Team Fortress 2, overwatch and many more). This always keeps the game interesting, withou the need to pay. Payment in those games is earnt via cosmetics, bigpoint tried this but for some reason it just doesn't work or they just don't earn enough money

    Think about it, the new Cyborg is basically just a direct upgrade from the venom. And lets be fair, the old venom wasn't really that good, it took long for the damage to actually mean something, and it could just be countered to easily. Instead of releasing a new 'Venom with a disguise', they could just have buffed the old one a bit, no, they decided to create a new one instead...

    And what about the Aegis and hammerclaw. The aegis was part of a team, along with the Spearhead and Citadel. You think they would release a different version, or edit an existing one. The elite designs are an excellent example, granting you with different stas for different playstyles. But now... all we get are direct upgrades. Everything always has to become bigger and better, sidegrades and rebalance is what we need!

    Anyway, all of the above just to notify you guys that existing things will most likely never change. The only reason that the skill designs were changed is because it would make no sense at all to release them again with just shorter cooldowns, even for bigpoint standards. All we can hope for is that Citadel and Spearhead get their reduced cooldowns as well... All we can hope for...

    The problem is it actualy works, by making the old things obsulete they manage to get some players to pay to get the new ones but... all that at the cost of ruining the game and at the end of the day they dont even make so much money from that.
    Those games u mention make money from cosmetics (at least tf2). And is not just the money, its the fame those games get.
    Those games are free to play and dont have this cartonish psycadelic graphics that devs like so much this days.
    Very few games have this two factors present and because there is a huge demand for those and very few ofer those games end up atracting alot of players (just look at lol) that way they can make alot of money without making the game pay-to-win using cosmetics.
    They tryed to do it here but they forgot that for that to work they needed to bring back those two factors.
    Imagine the game today if they had released cosmetics instead of bio back in 2010.:rolleyes:
