[UI] NEW EDITION OF TECH CENTER: THE DEMONSTRATION OF RAW POWER

    TECH CENTER have been in D.O since 4 years ago, and it hasn't changed much ever since and 2 of the techs are pretty much useless now since it is not effective anymore since players received too much buff from ships, and new things and the item upgrades.

    I will discuss about the rebuff versions of the chain impulse and backup shield techs on this thread and my new recommendations of adding techs that can be useful in both pvp and pve.

    NEW TECHS:

    PLASMA MINE
    A reserved mine launcher will be installed on your ship for the use of this tech specifically used by the PLASMA MINE.
    A special type of mine is launched directly on the locked enemy ship, it will latch on to the ship and saps its energy, Reducing the enemy ship's laser power by 20% for 5 seconds. (Cannot be Countered by EMP)
    • 20% Laser Damage Reduction on enemy ship
    • 5 Seconds Duration
    • Delay of 1 second before latching
    • Cool down time is 2 minutes.
    MISSILE BARRAGE (NOT HELLSTORM)
    Overloads your launcher engine for missiles to temporarily rain your adversaries with barrage of missiles on their faces.
    Decreases Missile Launcher Cool down by 90% for 3 seconds
    • 90% cooldown of missile launcers
    • 5 Seconds Duration
    • Cool down time is 1 minutes
    CHAIN IMPULSE (Revise)
    An energy pulse which locks onto one target and then onto up to seven other enemies, thereby causing a chain reaction of hull damage to each and every one.
    Damages every enemy ship directly into their HP for a fair amount of damage for 7 targets.
    • Deals a Shield Penetrating 50,000 Damage on their HP instantly
    • Can Afflict the damage up to 7 targets, each chain decreases the damage on the next
    • Immediate use
    • Cool down time is 1 minute
    BACK UP SHIELDS (Revise)
    The backup shields will give an Insta Shield effect while your shields are being regenerated for over 2 seconds of 50% of their maximum Shield Power.
    • Regenerates 50% of Maximum shield power over 2 seconds
    • Insta Shield for the duration of 2 seconds
    • Delay of 1 second before the back up shields starts to kick in
    • Cool down time is 2 minute
    DEFLECTING BARRIER
    Enhances your shielding capabilities for the time being, deflecting any laser damage you take back to your opponents for 50% of the maximum damage dealt.
    • Every enemies shooting shall be inflicted back with their own laser damage by half of the original power
    • 50% Of the damage deflected will return back to their respective player as damage
    • 3 Second Duration
    • Cool down time 3 minutes
    PRISMATIC BEAM
    Instantly shoots out a concentrated beam of prismatium energy that directly deals damage to enemy shields and transfers 25% of the damage back to you as shield energy.
    • Instantly Deals 20% damage against the maximum shield power of the locked enemy ship
    • Transfers 25% of the shield damage back to your ship as shield energy to regenerate shields
    • Immediate use
    • Cool down time 3 minutes

  2. Cool ideas, but I think they should cap the amount of tech activations (maybe 3 per 3 minutes?) because it could...escalate. Furthermore the costs shouldn't be to high, except these techs should be a privilege of Ufes. In this way Ufe would rather complain more about "ammo wasting". Add more damage techs to compensate it (actually you can ignore the newbe oppression, because they don't survive anyway, if they are hunted).
