[UI] New Event: Palladium Frenzy!

Story:
A fleet of pirate ships has come to invade our company maps! but there was one thing they didn't expected: Sabotage!

We have sent soldiers to their freighters hauling tons of palladium on to their cargo, palladiums are resources they needed for them to built their portals to transfer their troops from their territory to ours, but we manage to prevent it by making our soldiers sabotage the freighter before it gets on our company base!

Palladiums are now scattered around every map (on upper maps only) and because they are retreating, we can collect these precious raw materials and trade them for double the amount of normal extra energy we gain every transaction!

BECAREFUL: because of the force retreat of the pirates, some of their comrades are left behind to collect the remains of their freighters, so you will have a tough fight before you can collect their precious cargo.

HOW LONG WILL THIS LAST?

depends, maybe atleast through the weekend, or just a day then poof, gone.
its better if it is launched in the same day as double galaxy gate rewards.

FOR HOW MANY TIMES DOES THIS EVENT WILL GET LAUNCHED?

Its better for atleast at the end of the month when double galaxy gate rewards starts or before it.
players would expect it weekly and wouldnt even bother buying extra energy spins from payment, that would lower their profit drastically.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE PALLY? I LOVE EM!

you can find them on x-5 , x-6 , x-7 , x-8 maps, 4-5 map has the most palladiums on the map and is as wide as 5-3, but there should be more pirates on that map, adding it the ubers and boss aliens in it, if not cloaked will have a tough time collecting palladiums.

ARE NOOBS/NEWBIES WILL EASILY COLLECT PALLADIUMS?

Depending on the hostility of the map (UEs targeting noobs/newbies) they should atleast collect around a few before they die.

WHY SUGGEST THIS EVENT?

to give chance for those people to atleast collect the materials and trade them off for extra energy, greedy players shoots off weak players off 5-3 for them to collect all the palladiums they want all day long, making chaos and imbalance to the game, destroying the economy.

it also adverts or promotes players to do galaxy gates frequently to earn their keep, encourages them to play more and stay in the game even though they are being bullied by Ultra Elite players.

 

i have no need for palladium, but if you want to collect palla in other maps thats cool with me. now i wont have to travel to 5-3 to get easy kills

 

Nah, that will just be annoying to some of us who don't pally much. I don't want to be cubing or bking, then the next thing I see are pirates attacking. Just plain annoying.

Stick to 5-3 or boxing if you want spins & keep it there.

 

When the Pirates were first introduced it was months of them in the regular maps and it was a major pain trying to do regular quests let alone doing anything else. I agree with KilerStreak, keep them in the 5-x maps. You want more Pally fields then increase the refresh rate in 5-1 or add fields to 5-2 so there is less reason to hang out at the base all the time. How would you determine if the Pally was collected from the x-? maps or the 5-? to give the extra EE? It would not be right to compensate people who "macro" the pally fields all day to collect the double EE reward also. I lived having the Pirate quests to be done and collecting the Pally in 5-1 all by myself and my PET, yes my collection rate was not as high as the 5-3 field but I was not just collecting Pally and completed most of the quests while being in 5-1 map.

hell no cx this would cause god dam mess in ga1 between eic and vru nothing could be done for the whole event pusant everywhere its horrible horrible!

 

I am referring to a Palladium Doubler - there is a Bonus Box Doubler, so I don't see the problem.

Right now the BBD is free till the end of tmw. The Pusat is the best, so get one.

And oh yes, it is not free - therein lies your problem.

 

hmmm yeah... a palladium doubler would be good but rather it will only make your normal collection time of atleast 3k palladium in an hour or 2 to get split in half
