  1. I would suggest sending a video or screen shot of the issue to support as this is not the way the game is supposed to act. The only maps you can not escape while being attacked are the Battle Maps not normal enemy maps (x-1 to x-8).

Super weird. I dont have any screenshots of it, and i cant even play right now because my instance has such bad lag.

  3. Have you removed the jump chip from your ship and tried to play?

I agree that high level players should be discouraged from just randomly killing new players. However, what determines the outcome should be more than just levels. We don't have anything in place that says that player is level 15 or 10. Rank is not enough to tell you. I have seen sergeants solo cubes so you know they have equipment and skill, and they take off after a UFE like its their job. We do need something to help out in the lowers. New players start in the lower maps trying to figure out which way is up and to have majors and above uncloak, like its really needed, and shoot them in the face just makes them question if they are even playing the right game. PVP, check, Baby Murder... Come on... In uppers I really don't complain too much and will normally just start laughing when attacked, even on my noob account. Well actually on my NOOB I am always laughing when I see I level/ranking players coming after me and have to take the time to stop talking about the amount of pro ammo these players expended.

Going back to levels based rewards, you also have to look at why some attacks are made. We have various common events like Spaceball, Beacon, etc that can be played by most and lets be honest, even the just started today player can get hyped into playing upon watching chat. Thank goodness that is broken right now... There is also CBS defense/attacks. Players get all into those and they are in lowers and uppers. You can't justify who to shoot at that time because they are all level 12 players at the x-3 map CBS and you are level 21 like me. There are so many variables to be considered, its no wonder it was described as a programmers nightmare above.

How to balance the game out between the UFE and the NOOB players is a chore I really wish upon nobody, but at some time a workable solution has to come.o_O

  4. More maps - spread 'em out o_O
