  1. Hi guys. I don't use the forums a lot (as you can see) as I merely come on here only to view updates and new content that is coming out so I hope I'm posting this in the right place. Maybe I should visit it a little bit more. Anyway, I'm no UFE, I'm just a mere FE Pusat but I'm hoping you guys will take the time to consider my new idea for a gate. I've put a lot of time into writing this post and thinking about the idea so please don't shoot it down straight away! Constructive Feedback is always welcomed and I will change the idea I have on the gate to suit feedback.

    Pirate Gate

So, my idea for this gate is to suggest a slightly more difficult gate with good rewards that people will be more inclined to do if they find the other gates to easy or boring. This gate should give a challenge to those who are looking for it. A lot of this gate will be based on the Zeta Gate

Name: Undecided at the moment, Can't think of one
    Required Parts: ~108
NPCs: Interceptors (+ Boss), Barracudas - Exploding (+ Boss - Non Exploding), Saboteurs (+ Boss), Annihilators (+ Boss), Battlerays (+ Boss).
    Amount of Waves: 11
    Rewards:
    • Uridium - 25,000
    • Honor - 250,000
    • EP - 7,500,000
    • Pirate Green Booty Boxes - 30 (If there is no special event then 50 keys)
    • Special Event Booty keys - 20 (Ulta Booty etc)
    • Palladium - 2000
    • Guarneteed LF-4 on first completion, then a Chance for an LF-4 on further completions (30-35%)
    • ? Chance for a Pirate Booster ?
    • ? Chance for a new Pirate Design ?

    Gate Name

Now I can't seem to think of a name for this gate so come up with suggestions and give me a hand.

    Boss NPCs

These Boss NPCs would only be available to fight in the Pirate Gate and much like other Boss NPCs, they'd have roughly x4 the stats and rewards of their standard NPCs and will be fought later on in the gate. The Boss Saboteurs could have the direction reversal beam instead of the Speed Debuff Orb.

    Reward Justification

These rewards have been somewhat based from the Zeta Gate. Since this is a Pirate Gate, you will have to expect the rewards to be focused around Pirate things such as Booty Boxes, Palladium and LF-4s (Since every so often there was an event where a Pirate Train would derail or something like that and LF4 chances were doubled). The Uridium is lower to compensate the fact that you're getting much more Booty Keys, Palladium, Guaranteed LF-4 on completion and then the higher then usual chance of getting an LF-4. The two rewards at the bottom, the Pirate Booster and the new Design are ideas I'm not 100% sure on.

Since this gate is all about the Pirates you would expect to get Pirate Booty Boxes. I suggested that you get a total of 50 Pirate Booty Boxes. However, if there is a Special Event going on such as the Ultra Booty you'd still get a total of 50 Booty Boxes however you'd get 30 Green Booty Box keys and 20 of the Special Event Keys that can be used during the events.

The new Pirate Design would have to be modelled so it looks rusty and then stats given to it. It could be a design that is given to all ships but the ship you complete the final wave on is the ship you get the design for. Stats could only work in the 5-X Pirate maps and have the following as a suggestion:
    • 7% extra damage to Raider NPCs (Pirate NCPs)
    • 10% damage reduction to players
    • 50% reduction to Saboteur Slow Down Debuff Orb
    • 5% extra Galaxy Gate spins upon trading Palladium
The Pirate Booster would be something primarily used in the 5-X Pirate maps though I suppose people could use it else where. I have some suggestions for what this Pirate Booster could be. It'd be similar to the Kappa Booster but it would give the following stats:
    • 5% extra Damage against NPCs
    • 5% extra Shields
    • 10% extra Galaxy Gate Spins when you cash in your Palladium (Instead of the EP bonus)

    The Waves

I've designed the waves to have a gradual build of NPCs from the previous non boss wave in order to provide that bit more of a challenge. Boss waves would also happen inbetween each standard wave and the formatting would look something like this:

    Normal NPC Wave
    Boss NPC Wave
Normal NPC Wave + Previous Non Boss NPC Wave
    Boss NPC Wave
Normal NPC Wave + Previous Non Boss NPC Wave
    Boss NPC Wave

And so on until we get to our last two final waves where they'll be very similar to the Zeta Gate final waves and the how the Devourer works. You'll get the mothership spawn along with a few NPCs. Then you kill those off, the insta-shield disappears for a brief period of time where you can engage the Battleray. After the short time the insta-shield comes up and a new set of NPCs spawn until all the waves of NPCs are destroyed and then the insta shield on the Battleray would disappear until the Battleray is destroyed. The final wave is where everything spawns together.

This should prove to be quite challenging and is hopefully something that the guys who want a challenge have been looking for. You could also have missions around this gate as well.

    Required Parts

This was just something I based again from the Zeta Gate.

    Feedback

Of course I am looking for plenty of constructive feedback on this gate idea. I am willing to answer all questions and change the continences for the gate upon popular decision and suggestions. Could something be too OP like rewards or could the waves be far to strong? I welcome all suggestions.

Thank you for reading this and I look forward to hearing your replies.

    Many thanks!
