[UI] New NPC's

  1. Ok as we all know, botters are still an issue, but got an easy solution. As well as a fresh idea, i looked all over the forum, and this idea has not been suggested.

    these NPCs will be located on the 4-x maps. yes there is ubers of this

    HP: 480,000
    Shield: 460,000
    Damage: 17,000-20,000
    ---------------------------
    EP:175,000 Honor: 400
    Credits: 1,500,000
    Uridium: 256

    Ability: when health half depleted, creates insta-shield. has nature shield leech of 5,000(give or take a few hundred) per volley, neutralizes player movement at random intervals. (aggresive if within range, but not while you're in combat with another player)

    -=[GeigerByte]=- is 4-4 only. 3 of them not present during spaceball

    final thoughts:

    well, they're not UPPER material, and too strong for lower maps, this is why i picked their location with care.

    you get popped on any map other than x-1 and x-2. so it doesn't matter in that case.
    the only difference 4-x has, is players can't escape PvP. and some players hit hard enough, you cant make it to port anyways. so the map is rather useless.

    this may seem trolly, but it's not. these guys aren't ridiculously fast, nor all that strong, but at least it fills 2 purposes, botters can't loot boxes dealing with both players and aliens. and actually puts a challenge out on 4-x maps. cause if you go there to box at the right time, you wont run into any players. so yeah, this is the easiest idea i can come up with. of course, i looked all over the forum, and never saw this idea.

    and don't say its stupid cause it puts baddies on 4-x maps. give legitimate reasons, so i can make changes so its at a point that everyone can agree on.

    and saying we have enough NPCs IS NOT A legitimate reason, we get new event NPCs every year.

  2. Or, you can put streunerR in there, regular through uber. Bot with those rockets getting you. The Uber StreunerR put an entire new dynamic on the 4-5 map.
     
  3. Issue that you have forgotten about is the Botters are running Cloaked and therefore would not be effected by these. It would, however, allow enemies to fly in our maps and cause players to run away if just boxing and see a Red Dot coming for them. Boxers will nit like the idea as they keep an eye open for Red Dots and avoid them as they are looking to be attacked by an enemy in PvP battle.

    I don't like the idea of being forced to attack an enemy in the battle maps because of some ability a NPC has.

    first of all, these aliens seem pointless to have in the maps since theyre not any better than anything else in the game, and second of all, thats battle maps. the entire point of those maps is to not have npcs in them. yes, bots take advantage of that but thats a problem for admins. i think they need a whole new level of maps past x-8, up to x-12, for all the players bored with bks. but adding something in the middle? seems pointless
     
  5. i'll think of something to prevent cloak, but the pvp ability is optional, it's not apart of the main idea

    right, when have you seen the 4-x maps being used for what they're supposed to be for, hunters will go uppers and lowers to hunt, so battle feilds are practically useless as is. and they aren't supposed to be better, the 4-x maps are the centeral hub, thats why these are mid range powered. and their problem IS OUR PROBLEM TOO, who do you think have to deal with the crap first, us. so why not have some npc's out there. and if bk's are that boring to you, go to 4-5 or pirates, do gates, go soloing a cube.
