  1. This is mainly for the benefit of the new players for them to concentrate in their quests and not be bothered by other players who wants to attack them as well as preventing the new players themselves to provoke other players in a PVP fight.

    Rules and Features:

    * Only new players of low level (after training program and up to level 10 ?) can purchase a Truce card for credits at Extra Section of the Shop which can be bought once per day and does not stack if unused.
    * This Truce Card protects a player from being targeted or from being attacked by other players of enemy or of same company as well as preventing the user to attack any player while the Truce Card lasts.
    * This Truce Card works on all maps.
    * This Truce Card lasts only for a certain time. It can only be used once per day and cannot be cancelled once started.
    * Any remaining time of effect will be cancelled the next day.
    * The Truce Card's PVP protection will immediately start after buying it from the shop.
    * The player cannot buy a Truce Card if he/she has been recently engaged in a PVP fight.(3-5 mins ? waiting time after the recent PVP fight)

    Truce Card Items at Shop:

    Items and Costs:
TCRD-01 - Grants the player PVP Protection and Restriction for 1 hour from the time of purchase. 100,000 Credits?
TCRD-02 - Grants the player PVP Protection and Restriction for 3 hours from the time of purchase. 200,000 Credits?
TCRD-03 - Grants the player PVP Protection and Restriction for 5 hours from the time of purchase. 400,000 Credits?

    * Only one of this type can be bought once a day.

Originally this idea was my reply on this thread http://www.bigpoint.com/darkorbit/board/threads/credits-in-game-economy.115191/

The words/numbers highlighted at yellow are the tentative since I'm not sure of those if they are enough or over. Any suggestion is welcomed. Thank you. :)

  2. this one seems fine since it would mostly be bought by newer players.
These two, however could be abused by stronger players; a level 9 could box for 9 hours a day for 700k credits with immunity to damage. kinda overpowered, no? I think the prices should scale depending on levels; a level 1 costing around 100k since, let's be honest - the tutorial gives you about 200k to start off with. making this easy to get + extremely affordable when starting; not even mentioning the immunity to attacks until completion of the tutorial. In my opinion, it should cost up to 900k for a level 9 player, increments of 100k and lvl 10+ it should cost uri for - given that its essentialy an hour + of free npcs / boxing / pallying depending on your levels etc. this would bring an influx of botters back into the game, something im sure the devs really dont want

  3. Okay thank you for your thoughts :) maybe the truce card should be limited only for the lower and upper home maps (excluding 4-X and pirate maps) and for the cost of the truce card maybe this is better?

  4. Why not just give players auto protection to level 12 in their home maps. Not including battle maps, The credits that a new player will save can go towards better equipment. I think that would also be easier for the DEV team to introduce than truce cards.
