[UI] NPC only maps

    We all know that there are players that we just can´t compete with, so i suggest you to make Npc only maps so that low level players or even medium level players can build up a decent account before going into the wild universe of dark orbit.
     
  2. It is called x-1 and x-2 maps...beware for the yellow bar in x-2 and enjoy your buildup.

  4. Its not enough but thats how I started yet I boxed at first and then went to the uppers when I was ready took me 2 weeks full irises and full b02 and lf3 half bio its enough just takes lots of grin and if you have no patience then whose to blame really?

    On my server there are players that religiously troll the lowers to pad their kill ratios on a daily basis, they are the reasons for an idea like this one. I completely back this idea as an attempt to prevent my server from converting into a player rich dead zone.
     
  6. Oh, it is enough for a newbie. You can get 2,000 uri an hour hassle-free...(poof)-free. Shoot and box/collect (sell for credits) everything. Credits used to bid in auction for uri parts with your earned credits.

    X-1 and x-2 is your safe zone now.

    When I started it was a constant orange bar for days/hours on end.

    The problem is that unless you want to spend months in x-1 and x-2 trying to build up..you have no way of building up fast..meaning weeks not months...the idea is to make people pay for upgrades...the problem is that there are so many other games out there you can get fast fun games without having to slog for months to try and get a ships that don't pop in 2 volleys from UFE ships.

    Popping isn't the problem..it's gonna happen...it's how fast it happens..i have FE goli and i can only just move away from a gate and if UFE appears i am dead before i can ever get to the gate...they have made it so it's all in the favor of the UFE ships..unless your UFE your not gonna stand a chance period this would be the reason most people just leave and don't come back..that being the reason there should be maps that players can go build up faster..but the AI should be more aggressive in them type of maps so as to not make it to easy.

    Is never going to happen, some UFE guys need to have the ''dopamine'' they get when popping flax players. They even will pay bigpoint for it and for as long as that happens, bigpoint will never change it.

    Well the idea of them paying for every dead server does tickle me a little, but why should that be the design for the game at every server?
    I say make these NPC killing only servers for new players and allow these fidiots that pay to get their flax player kiling jollies to keep the dead servers they created pay or not.

    If PvP must be engaged on the NPC servers make them happen on the battle maps.
     
  11. OK, so you got your computer, internet connection and the electricity to run this gizmo so you can play DO for F(FAAHH)reeee -what about the chair you are using hahaha...Work it playa ;)

    Yeah, but like the OP's topic is for a NPC zone and that so far is x-1 and x-2 unless you do GG.

    It would take months yes, but you are FE. Getting to UFE is much harder and longer.

    It would be nice to have the attacking ships zoned off to the BM, but then you are going to have farmers in the other maps.

  13. Personally, I think they should introduce the yellow nme bar into maps x-3 and x-4 and also increase the protection level for new players in all friendly lower maps. On the flip side being attacked by a player (stronger or not) will help you to gain skills in defending yourself in future battles. To be fair new players have it a lot easier now than back in the good old days. You might laugh and tell me stories of UFEs popping weak players. To that I say stop crying at port or on forums, get out there, gain experience on how to play and how to escape an attack and show those UFE players that it takes more than just being strong to pop you.

    I'm not laughing or crying nor do I flee battle, some keep whining that this is a PvP game I say change it to become a choice.
    If battle is what you truly seek then meet in the battle maps and have at thee, don't cloak and or raid lower maps like a coward. Face ur enemy when and where they are ready to defend themselves.

    Anything less is cowardly and usually defended in game and here in forum by the bull crap phrase "It's a PvP game".
    To those players and forum members I just say You are not the solution by a long shot.

  16. You should always be ready to defend yourself no matter what map you are in. Also this game is not just a PvP game, that is the excuse some people use to justify their actions. Unfortunately it is part of the game there is no escaping that. It is better to jump into the deep end to gain experience and skills on how to defend yourself rather than "choosing" or be given the choice not to take part in the PvP side of things until you have better equipment. All what you will have then is a player with a good ship who is lacking in skill.

    I have also mentioned having the yellow nme bar in maps x3 and 4 and have an increased level for player protection. I think that would help out a lot for new or weak players, they then have a better chance of avoiding PvP, rather than introducing the choice of whether to take part in PvP or not.
