[UI] Overlong name abuse worse than spam

    I know this was looked into a couple of years ago, and it was said that it would be stopped and that the devs would look in to it.

    It really is a problem worse than spam when people and I dont know how its done because I am as techsavvy as a giraffe.
    Players who can get round the max number of characters in their name by using large gaps that fill the whole chat box and who are at times flooding chat with their name just to disrupt it.
    Below is an example not unique and obviously the player is not doing anything wrong i am just using it as an example.

    the width of the name in the chat box was exactly the same as the width of the chat box. You get 2 or 3 in chat at one time and it becomes unusable.

    As discussed in chat I've passed this along as feedback along with the name given as an example, which I've now removed so as not to cause issue with any player here on the forums.

    I am the first part in the chain so cannot pass judgement or comment on behalf of the developers as to viability or possible implementation but it will be reviewed at a higher level than me.

    To all: As with all posts created here, the development team regularly read the community's feedback and use this area along with the dedicated feedback threads and general comments to progress the game. In addition, the moderation team also view all posts and highlight any they feel warrant it. All ideas and constructive feedback is welcomed.

    Thankyou for passing this on, I hope I didn't get any infraction for including the name it was an example of the type not a complaint against the player, so cheers for removing it. Just wanted to show what I meant obviously that only concerns the dev team not others.

    It is legal/OK to have a name that fits the max characters that DO allows o_O

    Fill up that tank :D
