  1. Is it possible to have a tournament? 1v1, 2v2, 5v5, 10v10, etc.

  2. JPA pepehands

  3. JPA - JackPot Arena

Due to misuse (hackers, out-of-game betting, etc.), it has been suspended permanently. I have heard word of it coming back once Darkorbit moves away from Flash Player.

If you are interested about JPA, you can YouTube it. There are a few legendary fighters you should know of.

  4. JPA - JackPot Arena allows for 1v1s but it was being misused and the 10,000 USD was usually obtained by cheaters anyway. So in a way it was just rewarding people for cheating so they stopped it entirely.

Of course this is only for 1v1s. There has been plenty of events such as teamfighting events that have caused 4v4 and other situations, but honestly since this game became "reloaded", all of that kind has stopped. MCC took over and ruined any kind of event since companies don't mean nearly as much now as they did 6 years ago. To be honest the game in general use to be 4v4v4v4 and 3v3v3v3 etc, but ever since MCC it just stopped all of that and it's either a ridiculously big fight between two clans and NAP/alliances, or it's a 1v4 or something of that nature.

The game has definitely gotten worse over time.

Also the guy above me is talking about people who use tactics such as P.E.T abuse and nano usage to win those fights, they really aren't that skilled.

  5. Very few times did a cheater win JPA. Most of the times when someone who abused a glitch won, darkorbit would void the jpa and have it the next month. I won jpa twice so i pretty much knew all the ins and outs. There was no such program to help in pvp other than autolock but it was easily detected in JPA so no one used it. only "cheats" were bugs such as tech item spam or flaws in darkorbits programming that people took advantage of. Account sharing was also considered "cheating" so when darkorbit says cheating they are mainly talking about acc sharing, because a jpa winner would have his jackpot $ reset to 0, but of course they want to play the next month so theyd as a friend to use their acc so they wouldnt have to box again. Only once was there an instance of an actual cheat and that was someone who had access to the admin control panel and leveled up his drones to level 160. In conclusion, most of the jpa winners were not using cheats to win > i know this because ive versed all the big names out there and i knew the limits of the game at the time > you could look my name up on youtube to watch my victory back in the day

EDIT: as for the pet abuse, THERE ARE tactics to counter this dilema. Many of which i used (when you are a top fighter you have to think of every possiblilty in any occasion ) Here are the options
1: have shields on ur pet so u can just sab ur own pet so u dont lose shields in a fight (cant be in outfit)
2: while still being locked to the enemy, put your pet on kami kazi and spam your laser hotkeys (this makes ur pet run to them and attack them until it blows up ) prevents them from charging up shields
3: simply sab their pet or kill it if it has no shields

As for nano hull (JPA was meant for the BEST players) and you can only start training to be the best once youre UFE. once 10,000 $ is on the line, spending uri for nano hull isnt important if you know your limits and feel like you can win. you NEEDED to be on par with equipment and advantages (such as techs and nano hull) in order to stand a chance against someone of equal or greater skill.
once 2 players have everything in the game > then skill is tested between them to see who can predict the other or have a tactic that hasnt been discovered yet or even adapt to that tactic as youre fighting. there IS skill involved believe it or not. and of course i can only say this out of experience. 1v1ing in darkorbit is very complex (if you aim to be the best). its not as simple as one may think. when youre up against someone who has everything you have, you have to figure out how to beat them (thats when skill prevails)
    Example 1:
Timing your instashield / emp to block their rsbs shots while getting yours in (you can manipulate this situation in your favor by knowing something about human reaction time and predicting the other person will follow what you do if you are the one taking the dominant side of the fight)
Example 2: timing the time between your insta and theirs (example:5 second difference)
So you know when to be on your battle and when its time to either tank or evade their insta on your speed.

it gets even more complex than that if youre one of the people who have sat down and analyzed everything in this game.
Finally: please dont undermine jpa winners because they are the ones who have shaped tactics that other people have adapted to (what you can consider skill)

jpa was a good idea but the technicalities were all wrong and darkorbit had many flaws in their game > until they can fix connection problems, logic errors and bugs, it should remain closed since humans in general will abuse wahtever they can to win something thats important

  6. I'm sure this entire paragraph is just so you can claim you are the best fighter or what? I don't want to read four paragraphs of someone, quite franky just chatting ****. I'm only going to respond to the important points, because most of it just seems to be your ego getting the better of you.

How do you know if winners have cheated or not? This is clearly just you being frustrated that they removed it so lets move onto more relevant points. yeah, literally the entire first paragraph is you claiming something I really do not care about. Winning JPA isn't going to gain you respect from me or a large amount of this community, so I'd just stop if I was you.

Lets just skip right to the pet abuse points you make:

    1. Yes, but they can also sab your pet or their own so you don't gain the advantage back that you are losing.
    2. Yes, that is part of what P.E.T abuse is and the reason I said it ruins PvP and JPA a lot.
    3. If you move in to sab their P.E.T they will just attack and you have to relock, so you are still not gaining your advantage back from this tactic they are using.

In short, P.E.T abuse exists so people with no skill can do cheesy tactics to gain advantages, I'm really sorry if that hurts your feelings but it's the truth of the matter.

I have played for over 10 years, I'm pretty sure I know plenty about this game so I don't know what that point is meant to even mean.

Like I said, all JPA winners did is make the game way more unfun for people who don't use these tactics or don't know about them. Personally, when I come across someone using P.E.T abuse in 1v1s, I do the 1v1 then never speak to them again, because it's clear they have no skill unless they are doing things like that.

None of that is even the reason JPA was bad. Like I said, it encouraged cheating and it encouraged lots of tactics to be created such as P.E.T abuse.

EDIT: I also bet you are one of those players that asks for 1v1s in the game while sitting on two ring configurations in a shield ship design with 2 extra shields on ship. Dude, you are just pathetic.
