[UI] Reduce the Skill cooldown

    Hi once again.
    I have been thinking about the possibility to change the skill designs (the duration of the skills) I think an average battle with those ultra-full elite users won’t last so much time, maybe 6 min as maximum.

    Then, I think the ability's cool down should be reduced to 6-8 min even 10 min its good, with the purpose of using a skill twice in a battle or once by battle.

    I think at the moment the skills designs doesn't worth it, it’s too much uri (250k) for use an ability every 15 min!!

    Then what about this:
    Solace= 6 min
    Venom=10 min
    Spectrum= 8 min
    Sentinel= 8 min
    Diminisher= 10 min


    Again, excuse me If I have errors while writing.
    Finally what do u think about my idea? Would u improve something? Cheers!
     
  2. Nowadays the designs don't look very nice compared to skins of other games, they are very old.
    250K, which looks like a round number, is a fictitious prices in old times, where this designs are really good and D O was a little...greedy.
    Against NPC the cool down should be even more reduced, it's not OP if a Venom kills with its ability one Kristallon.

  3. Meh, after credit crunching, grinding and transfers, all of these can be gotten in the weekly auction if you want them. Who is really spending uri at this point on them? On my main, I had all of them in less then a month from the auction two months after it became available.

    Cooldowns could be adjusted though. Twice an hour is really a long time to use the abilities and makes me wonder what the point is which leaves me happy just to stay in my spearhead and fly.

    although u can get these designs in the auction, take into account that in some server the price is too high, and its better to buy with uri than credits sometimes (at least in my server AG2).
    after using the ability of one design it make u think now what? i personally use the two designs i have to PVE, and i think they are almost useless, so i suppose for PVP are even worse.
    that's why i'm proposing to change the cool-down maybe the mins i'm proposing maybe another but the ones at the moment are just a waste of credits and/or uri
     
  5. Do you mean "4 times" per hour? But even 15 min are a very long time.

    I needed months to get these in the auction (on my server the regular "price" is 1kk).

    IMO the designs are ONLY good in PvP especially Spectrum and bad in PvE. Good hunters use Surgeon, for "normal" farming PvE F2Players the Enforcer is sufficient.

  6. The problem you have forgotten is with the Cool down Boosters (double stacked) you cut the time almost in half now (which is why they were introduced). You have to remember this game is a game of economics (even for the FREE player) you have to work for what you get (either REAL Life or Game) and to make changes that affect the game economics will not be looked at.

    Yes we all want to find ways to make the imbalance of the game less, but making changes that would be further reduced so it could be used twice during a battle is not the way to do it as the UFE is going to be able to do the same thing.

  7. Then remove the Cool down Boosters from the game, they are only useful for this skill designs and Aegis (Zita and Spearhead are playable without boosters). It will be a nerf for Aegis (besides 50% cool down reduction Aegis is toooo OP:p), nevertheless base cool down reduction for the Goliath designs is a HUGE buff/ an infinitely booster.

    I'm feeling very bad every time, when using Venom on a Kristallon. 15min cool down. I don't buy cool down booster to kill more Krist, it will never give my 10K Uri back.

  8. Then you have just messed with the people using the CD Booster for the PET. Making changes by removing things from the game is not going to fix anything. I do not understand why you need to kill BK's with the "skill" of the ship, I kill them all the time without having to worry about my health or any "skill" unless I have a ton of LK/SK bothering me and a quick Kami from my PET takes care of them.

  10. Your probably right. I may have my ability times mixed up. I don't really use them anymore since I hate wait time.

    Auction, depending on server, can be crazy with prices, I agree. You have to wonder how players have so many credits on the global servers for the bids to stay so high, but unless you are after the higher population, relief can be found in regional servers.

    I like Sentinal for PVE as I am constantly working on more powerful NPC and the skills help with the UBK and UBL.
