    Here's an idea for ya. How about we start rewarding and giving the players more.

    As most of us know this is mostly a pay to win game, and can cost quite the amount of money to become uber. Darkorbit has been around for 10+ years, meaning its only losing players as the days go on. Now when i thought darkorbit was finally giving us more than they ever have (the fissure gate) they take the rewards away so its no longer as rewarding, and on top of that, they lower the percentage drop for proxium in the gate, like really? Now my question is why? for a game that is 10+ years old, why not just give the players what they want? They could have made so much more money had they just kept it the way it was. I refuse to even do the gate anymore.

    Now what i think Darkorbit should really do is make a way for players to obtain more for less. More ammo, more boosters, more sep, more tech, without having to drop $100 just to get me a few weeks of ammo, after all this is a pvp game is it not?? why not make it easier for the players to get a large amount of ammo so they can use it on what this game was meant for PVP!

    Give back to the players!! I believe giving the players more will keep the Darkorbit servers filled with ships, and players.
     
  2. more like pve, high ranked players only lives in the gates by dropping cash, then stays in x-1 map for the rest of their lives inside those gates that gives tons of honor, with the pilot bio+ honor booster, + formation and the ship, they just stay there until they are out of uridium, then cube a little, honor should be earned from killing players not from doing gates, i know it will have problems but still, the game itself isn't a pvp game anymore its more of a pve one, they should just decrease the honor gained in the gates like 75% of it, then when double gg rewards day hits, it will be worth the trouble to do for their precious ranks to earn more honor, then spend the ammo for killing players, thats it.

    the game itself consist of many different aspects of gameplay, pve, pvp, or collection of valuable currency, ammo, and extra energy spins (bonus boxes, boxing is efficient than cubing if you have the money to pay for a doubler)

    it has been said they don't go out on the open and maintains there rank by doing alpha, beta and gamma, which is the gates that gives the most honor (hades gives more but is a group gate and requires atleast 4 players to initiate) they just do a few, then logs off.

  3. You have just hit why a major number of players left the game with the introduction of the LF-4 and increased imbalance of the game. The top players lost their ranks as they enjoyed the main premise of the game PvP over the GRIND of the gates. And those players enjoyed their supremacy as they could withstand many battles 6v1 and still laugh at the 7th person who bragged about having been able to kill them and then retaliate with popping them several times for being so smug. It was funny to see the portals fill up because someone reported this player was in the map as everyone knew only the ELITE of the ELITE would be able to survive their attack.

    The game has continued its downward spiral and increased need for PRIVATE map playing instead of galaxy system play. Most don't even do quests anymore.
     
  4. the missions so far, are all left with one question:
    how am i gonna kill 250 players on each map? 5-1 5-2 5-3? are there players on 5-1 sitting to collect palladiums there? :) server only has 10 players online every day lol

    there are missions that requires a thousand kills for a certain alien, and do you think the reward for killing and spending a lot of time on the map for that kills are worth? i may say it is, but the difficulty is too much for a certain type of player like a level 20 that requires 400 kills of uber kristallons and uber kristallins, the reward would be a hefty 20k uridium, a few tens of million credits, the honor is few but the exp is high and rewarding, the missions changed since ive played it in 2010 where all missions only consist of lower map kills on aliens depending on the player, i was at around level 10, 200 kills of sibelons rewards me with 10k uridium, isnt that too easy for me and the mission reward are great?

    if they give out more reward from those amount of kills needed, players would do missions for the rewarding effort like 400 uber kristallons, the mission reward will give you 50k uridium atleast, or give out elite items such as LF-4 on some certain elite missions that doesnt require unlocking but only effort to do it, 1 LF-4 for atleast 250 kills of kristallons, 500 kills of kristallins, the time you spend on the map may vary depending on your status if FE, sub-FE or ultra elite, still, you get an LF-4 and it is reward, people may come back to do missions instead of just botting and waiting for the double gg day.

    you cant say that they wont buy uridium anymore on MHH or HH, you cant dictate their thoughts just by bringing more rewards on certain missions or events , doesnt mean they will not pay for the game, better think better than that D.O

    give more rewarding missions and MORE HONOR on missions, so those Ultra Elites would instead go and do missions unlike sitting on their gates and just preparing for an upcoming promo boost on honor,so they go and kill ubers and pirates, kill some elites on 4-4, your missions are for dummies and not worth the effort and i can level up by doing only gates and killing kristallons all day! its nonsense!

    map 4-4 is always empty, how are we suppose to kill lots of enemies from the missions u give us? the pvp missions should be a DAILY mission, that gives elite items such as 5k ucb, 2k uber rockets, or 1k RB ammo, thats a rewardable mission for a daily basis, so people would normally do dailies, i dont do dailies because its not really reward (except for a booty key reward on the mission)

    AND WHAT WILL OUR WHINING DO ANYWAY? NOTHING! D.O is still the same as years from now!
    so for now, lets just forget about the problems and play, ignore D.O's donkey's bottom event that is worst than a baby dumping at his diaper and you, sniffing the smell.

    please admins, read my pain, those developers suck at being creative and imaginative!!! we people on the forums have better ideas than they give to us, we dont deserve this.

    There is and E-mail survey underway at the moment with some ideas to future game features with some of the things the OP as mentioned and may well be worth taking some time out to take part in the survey, as to the issue to the fissure gate rewards it as not been so long ago since the Kuiper launch event gave out massive amounts of EE in bonus boxes (a DO mistake ) this combined with player greed syndrome resulted in a DO rethink and a nerf of EE in the Kuiper event bonus boxes . This very same syndrome of player greed and miscalculation from DO as resulted again in a rethink.

    Of course man.They release something useful,they realize their "mistake" and they nerf it.It's all for the sake of getting you to pay money.The developers may get orders from the higher-ups to drag out many money ....at this point i don't take the time to continue because it's pointless if they ignore our posts and comments at forums.
     
  7. Even if they do ignore our posts, its still good to put effort on posting what you think on the forums, its you who gain something after posting it and reading other people's opinion about the topic, its their loss
