[UI] Rework Uridium Purchase

Okay, so we're all used to how the shop looks but there's ways around how we get our uri and I'll get to that in a moment.

Some of us who have been unlucky for BP to block our debit cards and paypal know how annoying it is to buy subway cards either in-store or online and they only take solid $ amounts, and nothing ending in .99 (take the hint bp).

And besides that issue, DO has been testing raising Uri prices a near 25% on some servers. They did it to the US servers, received such heavy negative feedback that they withdrew it and threw it on another server and did the same thing.

So if they want to raise prices, they need to raise the amount. It's classic marketing. You will not buy the same amount for a higher price. You buy higher amounts for lower prices. For example, a week of Uridium Advantage is $1.99 and you get 10,000 U. In the Uridium shop, 5,000 U is $1.99. Obviously, you'll take Uridium Advantage.

So we need to rework the shop, and it'll have it's permanent bonuses and effects to go along with it. So let's take it from the top.

And no more ending things with .99. I can't tell you how many subway cards with .01 on it I have.

Lowest option: 7,500 Uridium
Highest option: 500,000 Uridium

The uri is higher because the price is high. We'll get to it as we go.

*Note: As the packages progress, they include prior benefits (except for premium, rebate, or doubler). So energy, keys, boosters are included. Weekly Special is included (so $125 option includes both, for double credit)


So this is what I mean by increasing benefits. This means we no longer have to wait for certain benefits to be out and we also get an extra reward for paying for extra services.

So let's say you buy the $30 option. This is everything it will include.

Why did I include an LF-4 in there? Simple. It's still a pain in the ass to get no matter the event. And most people tend to spend anywhere from $30-$170 a month. I know because that's me.

Even at $30 to get it, think of how much it'll take at minimum to get a full set without collecting one in-game. You need 46 for a full set.

16 if flying Pusat
20 if all 10 drones
10 if pet is maxed out

To buy all LF-4s with the $30 package, it'd cost $1,380. So the reason it is there is simply if someone just has 30 and wants a good benefit or maybe someone needs 1 more LF-4 and is down on their luck.

--Weekly Special
The weekly special would be up to the devs but here's a few ideas.

-300 of each assembly material (NOT hardware)

-Rare drone formation (Bat or Lance)

-250 Extra Energy (so on the $125 package they get a total of 1,000 spins)

-Rare ship (N-Diplomat, N-Envoy have not been added to be purchased for real money, neither has G-Saturn)

-Drone designs (Elite Demon, Havoc, or Herc)

Just change it up each week so it's unpredictable. You do it with Special Rewards weekend for gates.

With the $125, here's everything it will include

So not only do you pay $25 more, but you also pay less. You get several in-game items, and you don't have to pay for Premium or rebate, which will save you even more in-game.


--Why 500,000? That's 170,000 more than the current.
-It's slightly more than half of what the amount is currently. But with the way the game economy has jumped, that amount has become more and more worthless to higher players who already have everything and are focused on gates. The highest Helix we've been offered is 401%, 4.01x the amount. At 500,000, a 4.01x Helix will take the amount to 2,005,000. At the current amount, to get 2,000,000 uridium during a 4.01 helix is to spend on several packages

20,050 -> 1.99
60,150 -> 4.99
120,300 -> 9.99
300,750 -> 24.99
601,500 -> 49.99
1,323,300 -> 99.99

You'd have to buy (99.99) + (49.99) + (4.99) + (1.99) to equal the same amount.

1,323,300 + 601,500 + 60,150 + 20,050 = 2,005,000
99.99 + 49.99 + 4.99 + 1.99 = $156.96 at a current Helix to get over 2m uri.

If players see a better pricing range, they'll buy more. And the ending in .99, please make that stop. It's not a wise marketing tactic as it used to be. I don't want to carry around extra change when I leave a store, so if 2 items are the exact same and priced differently, I'm gonna buy the one that gives me less coins to carry around. I could fill 3 wallets with the leftover subway cards I have

I think these packs would be nice addition, but the old ones are good if you don't need any of the items that are included in the packs that you suggest. For example, some people have 1 year of premium and many months of rebate and wouldn't see it necessary. Also, many UFEs and even weaker players have lots of the items you mentioned.

These packs would be awesome for new players that start the game and could be confused how they should spend their uridium. I still don't think these packs should replace the uridium-only packs. If these packs are released, I think these should be adjusted to be about the same value as the uridium packs or vice versa.

This is good idea, but it needs some refining. Could even be seriously considered by the company since Happy Hour and Mega Happy Hour-events were originally introduced by community (?) (correct me if I am wrong, I am pretty sure that the Happy Hour(and mega) were ideas that were introduced by the community.)

 

i like your idea but the fact remains as a online game it is well over priced they need to stop adding stuff get control of bots getting free uri as its a massive off put to hundreds of us.i would start spending again if went bac to 70 pounds but the cost now has becom a rip off in my eyes most are kids in game and dont get a tenner for pocket money so give up game as cant compete with others its really becom a joke.im very upset with the greed of bp as a multi billion company ,they charge way to much in the uk on fuel >yet this is a game >bp start playing fair thats all i say
