[UI] Save Feature for Hangar

Loving the new "Transfer" option in the hangar, however, I feel it is missing something. I think DO should add a save feature for other ships. You can equip a ship and there would be a "Save" button at the top somewhere. This would allow you to instantly transfer your gear from 1 ship to another after deleting the configurations of a different ship.

Example: You are in an aegis, but you want to switch to a goli. You can press "Save" on your aegis, delete the configurations, and then configure your goli. Vice versa. If this is added, I suggest adding multiple save functions for different setups. Each save (if changes are made) would give you an option to give each setup a name. This will save a lot of time in setting up your ship.
Configurations would have to be deleted for this to work.

Many threads were already been created about this idea, which I really like. But I don't know how to show my absolute approval, so.

Standard answer: "Good idea, this would make this game more user friendly"

 

The new "transfer" option is a con, instead of selecting a different design from a drop down menu for your ship that already has all the equipment in place, you are taking all your equipment off one ship and putting on another. It is the same thing but the other way around. Except now it takes longer to do it.

I, myself have suggested this idea a few times in different threads hoping that the DO team will listen. I also suggested having a load, save and delete menu so with a few clicks of a mouse your cons are ready to go. Instead we get this new hangar system that is worse than the old one. The only reason why they brought out the new hangar is so they could change all the designs into actual ships and give them all cosmetics, so they can make more money. Nothing to do with making it better for the players, as we all know it is not better, not better by a long shot.

They brought out the new system knowing that it would cause problems with the PvP missions, but making money takes priority over making the game work. As we have seen time and time again. We all need to stop buying, crafting and using cosmetics until they sort the game out. With one hand they are dazzling us with shiny colours for our favorite ships and with the other hand, trying to pick our pockets for a game that seldom works.

 

I myself am a free player, so anything I suggest will be for the good of the players.

 

I'm sorry for blurring the main topic and asking such a nooby question, but I can't figure out how the transfer system works at all. I'm trying to transfer my items from a piranha to a bigboy solemn. But it won' t let me. I read up on this on other threads and it seems as though there is a manual transfer option ... which I can't figure out either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated greatly!

You can only use the transfer option if the two ships in question have the same amount of slots. To do what you are asking you would need to delete the 2 configs from the piranha and then click 'back' select the bigboy from the main hangar and then manually load up your equipment onto the bigboy.

this idea has been mentioned 100s of times in forum and chat, bigpoint will not do it because they want us to buy equipment for every ship, that means getting more lf4s bo2s etc and upgrading it all, so getting ufe on 1 ship is so last year, they expect us to bankrupt ourselves and get ufe on all ships, instead of listening to there bank manager they need to step back and listen to players for once
