[UI] sep being gained by cheating

I heard that some players gain more sep buy using other accounts and shooting them down when its loaded up with sep can this not be stopped by just stopping a destroyed ship dropping its sep or prom ?

 

To me these are players that don't enjoy playing the game and having fun with the challenges the game brings, they will usually try anything to abuse the game to their advantage. Also they cry the loudest when someone catches them and bans them or deletes something from their account. Eventually they will one day be stopped from being able to do things like this and that's the day they will quit the game cause to them they have to be the best and when their not they can't handle it anymore always getting killed. I have been playing DO for only 4 years and have seen a lot of top players ban from the game. Also i heard of this happening and am sure DO is aware of this just have to give them time to fix it or to catch players abusing it and punishing them for it. Enjoy

 

The percentage dropped is so little it is not usually worth the effort to do this. But they can be caught for "pushing" if they do it enough to actually make a difference, but then how much ammo are they wasting to be able to collect this little amount of Seprom? A video capture of the players doing this would be the easiest way to get the item brought to the attention of Support.

 

Bah, if you want to report pushing, send it to support. All it can do here is rile up those of us that spend time here, as there is really nothing we could actually do. If you have anything solid, you can open a thread to the mods in the chat section, and give it to them there. They can try to look into it and if they find it true, help to eradicate the mess.

 

I was just thinking of way to stop players from doing this just stop sep from being droped when your shot down lot less work for DO than catching them all that do it just idea

 

Well Seprom dropping is just like everything else but like was stated before, you don't get that much. I have dropped it before because I forgot to move it after transfer, but it was just a little bit, less than 200 I think, and the attacker reminding me about it. He was happy but knows most players would like to get it allocated where it is to be. Most respectable top 10 player I know on my server.

 

It might be good also if it was not dropped as you could then save sep ready to use instead of having to use it once it was sent to ship

 

This is the reason it is added to the drop as to detour the players from stockpiling it on their ships and then only loading it to the weapons for PvP battles. I would agree to a reduction in the amount dropped, if the player is being Bullied and killed numerous times by the same player (whether red locked or not). According to the >FAQ< the amount dropped is ~20% but also depends on what they are carrying and I have noticed that collecting your own dropped cargo does not return everything you lost (I believe there is a 10% loss so instead of recovering the full 20% you only get 18% back). It does say it includes Palladium, but I do not remember ever seeing any in Cargo Boxes (in Pally fields ship kills).
