[UI] Server merge and larger maps.

  1. Not enough players playing and *-6 map is small and has only 4 cubes.

    Cubikons have high reward that's why there is only 4 of them, also time have made players shooting damage way higer that's why seems like 4 is too few.
     
  3. You got tunnel vision lol, what if there was more players which there will be since there will probably be a server merge in the near future. They'd need to make the maps bigger, even if they end up keeping only 4 cubes.

    2 years ago there was same number players online as it will be after servermerge, having 4 cubikons isn't problem at all and we don't need larger maps also. One thing that must be done is changing Cubikon power. Reward drop will be higher but cubikon cannot be shooted alone. Protegits will have ability to deal 3k damage for player who shoots cubikon alone, if there are 2players it is 2k 3 players it is ordinary 1k damage per proteg. Also cubikon Hp and Shield will be increased.

    I mostly agree :) the accounts that have been 1month non active should be deleted first and then merge remaining accounts. Less work.

The "PURGE" is at a 6 month inactive because D O does realize that people do have a LIFE and sometimes it interferes with the ability to login to the game a 30 day cycle for deletion is way too low to lose an account over. The merge of the servers is not going to take any time once the current preparations have been completed. They just do a data dump between one server and the other and shut down the vacated server.

    You should remember before the UFE addition to the game we had many more players and the same maps. We just worked together more and enjoyed the game much more than this SOLO game we have now. Everyone is in GG's, Solo Cubing, or BK Hunting or are in the lowers getting their thrill kill of the NEW/weak players, helping to kill the population in the maps.

    People have Emails so there can send message about being offline and account lose. Emails should be
    visited daily or weekly atleast once. So that player can make online come for a second and hold account alive. Also offline time circle can be increased for 2 months, 6 is too long. True is that game has too lot empty accounts, they don't play or use them.
     
  9. Hmmm would fix alot of stuff if NPC respawn and population was based on how many players currently in map.

    The OP expressed concerns this would both group up players farming npcs and balance the NPC force needed to make the game exciting. More player in a map and more npcs you have to deal with as for the X6 maps cube respawn times reduce as per players in map this would keep there high reward balanced out between players

    Here is the down side someone will exploit anything whats to stop one guy getting clan to sit in cube map so they can farm cubes at fast rate? Well i see the clan as losing their max farming potential in favor of one coming nowhere close as to what each would be able to farm on their own. So there is balance until you add people making 2nd 3rd ect... accounts to boost map NPC population for faster uri farming do wont like that one
     
  10. Such Blinkered Comments:

    Grouping up is never going to happen on G5 server finding active players is the challenge, I came back to the game last Christmas,
    after many years away from the game, the game has undergone so many changes some good some really bad, allowing mixed factions to clan up is crazy as it's destroyed the unity and caused in part the solo playing,

    Take the Plague Gate: besides the bugs getting a group together is really hard, as like the Hades gates I am still trying to get 3-4 players together as I have never been able to go in.

    Cubes:
    have always been a bone of contention as frankly many paying players hate letting players ride off their back,and frankly why should we?
    people always moan about the free element of playing when there are also many that want to hit the gates and benefit from all the rewards,

    I understand it cannot be all one sided I run a small clan and have helped many get FE: by helping out on missions quest's and credit's but at some stage they have to stand on their own 2 feet, otherwise what's the point of playing?

    The Old Days:

    Many here won't remember how active the maps were the battle maps were so much fun groups of anything between 20 -50 players.

    Also consider for grouping up if the game was going to be driven that way then you would find so many leaving due to the fact that on one server host's to many different people on different time zones, plus personal availability,
    I often play through the night because it suits me if I was to log in and find that most of the game was driven due to being in a group I would leave and find another game.

    About farming speed and gaining everything - that is hard and should be helped a bit, cubikon respawn time cannot be decreased it is absolutely fine only thing what have happen is that players have got better equipment, but cuby haven't get upgraded. If we could decrease resp time most of high players gonna shoot starters away to gain all that uridium for themself that could mean only big ones will grow and there are no balance. Game stucks into U-FE accounts and they're rankfarm. Cubikon must have some protection to stop soloing also Hp/shield should be increased to make balance in Equipment and Npc stronghold. Also rewards should be increased because cubikon will be shooted by group of players.

    Limited player rate is only problem of jobless years by DO team. Old days could be nowadays also if we could keep upgrading game with fun and goal adds also should explore some effectline, because game is out of date. Having 1 million designs for one ship isn't cool. If each design could have special ammo/defend showout or sth then it could be a goal where to go.(purple design will show skill tree skills "Shield Engineering", "Shield Mechanics" with purple load, that means getting hit makes purple wave also not just white one and under shield restore thous hexagons will have purple edges.) Explode should be delete and replaced with falling apart imitating the ship color also parts will fly away from place that killing shoot came.
