  1. Today I was killing a cubikon in the map 6 of my company, when out of nowhere a user of my company appears and attacks me to keep that map with his other colleague of clan that if it was from another company ... I think, this game is about mmo vs vru or eic and so consequently, against each other, but when I see that a member of your own company attacks you for being able to stay with an aliens for your clan friends from other companies, You think the central science of this game is being lost every day ... so my question is, what the **** are different companies? if a user of the same as yours is aligned with another user of another company to kill you ... this violates the basic principles of the dark orbit of its creation, and in my opinion this will be one of the reasons that will ruin dark orbit, if the moderators, administrators, programmers, and all the big point team stays put in the face of this problem, they will simply lose a lot more money with the capital flight generated when losing players due to this problem, omitting other new users who see this problem simply will not even be encouraged to make their first monetary investment in the game. ORGANIZE THE GAME.

  2. This is nothing new at all, it's something that's been there since the creation of the game.

It was a minor issue back then, no one thought much about it at all, and it occurred mostly around solo/tiny group of players. Now you can see it daily, and it has become a major problem, even among teammates. They're so focused on hitting their "daily" quotas of ranking points, that they do not want anyone in the way, not even their own teammates. It was a problem that could have been easily addressed in the early stages, but now would destroy Multi-Company Clans, something that everyone wants and does not want.

Kinda like the Missouri Compromise, for you history fanatics

I have to admit, the OP has a point. I've come back after a long break from the game, so long that I forgot my original login details for my account had to start all over again! Before I start, this post does follow on from the OP and is relevant to what the original thread is about but does kind of branch out. This is because I am unable to start new threads just now. If this causes any offense then I apologise.

As far as I'm concerned this game has always had a HUGE amount of potential to be a really great game but, in my opinion, it falls short in a few essential areas which could be turned around to start attracting new players.
Here's my take on it (in no particular order):

Companies: as the OP says, what's the point in having different companies if we're all going to fight among ourselves?? We might as well shelve the whole idea of companies and make it based on clans and clan wars because that, essentially, is what we seem to have. If it's going to stay as a company based game then the ability to even attack a member of your own company should be completely removed from the game and players should ONLY be able to attack reds.

Home Maps: following on from companies, if players were only able to hit reds then I believe the lower maps should be off-limits to reds. These areas are essential for new players to be able to equip their ships, learn the game and build up. What we have now is (in 99% of cases) ridiculously strong players coming into the lower maps and blasting weaker players in just a few shots, or even just one shot in some cases. If that happens often enough, these new players may well get disillusioned with the game and quit. This game needs new players desperately but we won't keep them all the while this happens. By keeping the lower maps free of reds then the new players will have time to build up ready for when they go to the uppers/PVP maps.

PVP: Ok, I get it. This is supposed to be a PVP game. But have a look at what kind of players you see actually playing. Yes, there are a lot who do enjoy PVP and so they should! But there are also a lot who don't and only enjoy the PVE aspect of the game. They basically have PVP forced on them when another player hits them. There is no reason whatsoever why this game can't cater for both equally. The dev's could make ALL the home maps PVE only for those who want to enjoy that side of the game. We do have PVP maps, they could utilise those more for the players who want to enjoy the PVP side of the game. Heck, I'd even say make some new maps because right now there aren't very many! As long as there was a warning at the gate that players are entering PVP zones then everyone has a choice about whether to go and be part of the PVP side. Again, we need new players and I believe this would be a good way to cater for all.

Multi-Company Clans: I mean, seriously?? For the reasons stated above, I believe these should be dissolved immediately.

These are the major ones I can think of for now. I've thought of lots over the years but can't remember them right now. These are just my opinions and I know I'll get shouted down but I really believe this game could be great with a healthy player base if something like the above could be implemented.

  4. This has been around for ages, and even I do it, I'll steal your farm because I want it and you're just in the way lol. That actually just depends on my mood, or if I'm doing something, but If I'm soloing them, and you come up and leach, I'll pop you, and send you war so you cower in fear at the portal.
