  1. The game is starting to rapidly evolve, and I've seen everybody suggest more Uridium, more gates, more shields, more ships, more maps, etc. How about updating our current available equipment, or adding better versions?

Hellstorm Launcher 3 - increases from 5 to 7 rocket salvo
Cloak CPU XXL - increases from 50 to 75 uses
Repair Bot 5 - decreases from 90 second repair to 60 second
    Rocket Turbo 2 - increases from 100% to 150% (2.5x rocket speed)
Cargo bay expansion 2 - increases from 100% to 200% cargo space (quadruple cargo space)
Targeting Guidance CPU 3 - increases to 75% chance of a shot

Just a couple ideas, coming with the new Assembly system, I think the CBE2 (x4 cargo) would be useful

this would only increase the imbalance in the game...... stronger players even stronger and weak/average in the dust
there is no need for any of the above whats seriously needed is

    - massive revamp of quests
    - massive correction/balancing in players dominating/controlling companies/events
    - massive over haul of unstable technology
    - massive over haul of strategic planning (events and event execution)

newer/lower rank players have no way of progressing with out being owned of stronger players, thus there is no consistent new players staying active and progressing through the game.
pretty much only strong players that have spent money on the game or are long term players play consistently and that number isn't as big as it could be.

most players get bored and stop playing plain and simple. the assembly system will kill the game more the its just a different way of doing what you are already doing (collect stuff to build stuff)

as it is a pvp game for the most part there is much needed non pvp maps and a pvp chat so the smack talk is removed from global chat
you see it evey day in global chat endless smack talk and old players strong and average log on see the smack talk and say " i see nothings changed" and log... that where DO/Bigpoint missing the big picture..

    just my thoughts -DiminisheЯ-

  3. I agree with bd33, focus on what we have at the moment and fix them, not add more for the bigger players to feast on.
The assembly system coming out has an excellent potential to fix the gap between players, but as I've seen in another post, its timing and "item available" timing was too poor.

But OP's suggestion to those new items aren't too bad, although I don't think many players use Targeting CPUs, do they? Waste of Xeno in my opinion, I'd rather use them on SMB or Insta-Shields xD

assembly to me seems like a "desperate" attempt to come up with some thing new... a really poor attempt...
DO says "after lots of feed back in the forums" we have listened.....
errr ive never seen 1 real post regarding player feed back done in a constructive way, just endless posts of complaints
where has there been a post in the forums for assembly ideas????

also ive never seen anything in forums about assembly. i dont think theyve ever used an idea from a player.

and in my opinion the assembly could be a great thing, but of course d,o has to make it so you have pathetic chances for 'blueprints' to get resources you have a pathetic 'chance' of actually getting and then they'll probly even add in 'chance' of the item actually being successfully created.. making the whole system a pathetic attempt of making the game fun

they should take the hint we dont like to play the odds, we like to play the GAME. not the hunt-if-you-pay-hunted-if-you-play that this game is right now

and as for the OP's idea, the x4 cargo would be nice but it would make a shipment to a citadel take literally almost 3 days. not cool. everything else, would be nice, if payers couldnt get it before players. make them all mission rewards? then players have a chance. maybe. not likely but that sounds like the only hope

  6. From what I can tell the more uri part has nothing to do with new version of equipment adding newer version of item that already exist or increasing the quantity will only make the items more expensive so no to this idea. When it comes to ftp uri is slow and low I would suggest increasing the earning especially with the boxes if DO did this then I would agree with u bc uri would not be a problem but it is and its a long long struggle back in the day u could be ufe in 3month tops these days 1yr 2yrs some 5+years for free if u pay still gonna take a while depending on how deep your wallet goes.

  7. @bob_splendy I think you were talking FE not UFE as we can still be FE in 2-3 months just need the PP Bio to finish it out. I also agree that the proposed items would be too expensive for the FREE player to get and thus increase the imbalance of the game too much.

D O has been headed to a Pay to Play platform for a long time and everything they add costs Uridium or CASH and the CASH purchases of items available for Uridium are a farce (31% savings on E E with cash and up to 60% when they are % off) if you have Rebate and Premium and bought Uridium at MHH you are actually spending the equivalent of 24 collected Uridium per spin (76% off), yes I know it is costing you 70 Uridium but you got 3 times the amount for the same price.

Items should be available for Uridium and CASH so a person can have a choice how they want to get it not like the Surgeon where you either pay CASH for it (including the Uridium Bonus Package) or you don't get it.

As far as the X4 cargo space a Citadel with Premium would take 18 hours for a full load (18,000 units for my account) to be sent, but it would be nice for some of the other ships/players that don't have premium or cargo trader so they can collect more cargo before they have to refine or sell it at the base. It is the only NEW Item I would like to see and for the most part would not be picked up by the UFE's as they are sending to their ship faster than their SkyLab can create the stuff anyway. I send twice a day, once for credits and once for Booster and my SkyLab is out of Seprom with the Boost shipment everyday. So other than to be greedy and collect credits for AUCTION (UFE stick with the Boosters and Designs) there really would be no need for anyone except a non-premium or Newb to want the x4 cargo space.

just waited months with 300k uri saved and surgen goes on sale as a uri package.........

WHY THE HECK DOES ANY ONE BOTHER...... so ive paid money to get 300k uri for when the surgeon is in the shop for the 300k uri like it was last time and its in a uri pack more expensive then my power bill.... totally pointless
i dont need any herc's.... i dont need the defcom i don't need extra energy...... i dont need premium

    • 330,000 Uridium: 500 Extra Energy, a Defcom ship, one 1 Hercules design, a Goliath Surgeon and one Month Premium

Personally, I feel it is a step in the right direction.

I'd agree that they need to make more PVE ONLY maps and keep them exclusive to each company. This gives a comfortable area for new players to thrive and not have the fear of being killed in one hit by UFE goli. They should also let those same new players have access to higher maps, with more of a reward if they do survive. (similar to LEO home map boost, but with XP, Honor, Cargo drop boost, cred, uri boost ect.) This would still allow those quests for higher level players to hunt lower level players, and not have that disconnect where all the new players are unreachable to kill and complete hunting quests. This would also attract and captivate the newer players and not let them be more inclined to leave because its not fun dying over and over and never getting anywhere. Also possibly add quests that require higher leveled players to group with newbies and help them finish quests with rewards that are worth while. This will help strengthen each company and give it a sense of a "family" feel like it should. I remember where if you shot a company member EVERYONE would get mad and explain why that is bad and why you shouldnt do that. (KOBK, an MMO clan shot me off a BK to steal the kill, I'm also MMO. Apparently thats the thing to do now)

Big Point needs to take from successful MMO games, and take note; why are these games successful, what do they do to keep players happy, how can we change DO to keep the old players happy and keep new players from leaving? These are the things they should be avidly trying to figure out. As it is, DO is EXTREMELY fragmented, and that is putting things lightly.

The assembly system, to reiterate, is a good idea. But it wasn't brought to us as a complete idea. Take Elder Scrolls Online for example. Great game, to get the best gear you have to find the best crafting supplies and enchanting runes to MAKE your own stuff. (Also level up your crafting and enchanting respectively) I cant throw 100.00 dollars at it and have almost the best gear. Money does nothing except cosmetic changes (horses, costumes, ect.) or at the VERY MOST XP boost offers. This is where BP has failed. They make equipment buyable, where it should be something you grinded for and earned. ESO is successful without making equipment buyable, it really isnt that hard to do or figure out.

Big Point would literally have to change alot to fix this game, which would mean bye-bye to most of the players that don't want the changes required to make this a good game again, and hello to a newer wave of players. Unfortunately.

PS. @KilerStreak love your youtube videos dude! I appreciate someone helping out the newer community of players and showing them how stuff works and how to maximize their own ships. Great job. You should get rewarded a cookie, or two.
