Upgrades cost

I found right cost chart

But i always work on 100%
I have premium (-5%)
Rebate(-25%)
and today was upgrade hour too
upgrade hour (-25%)

So i should have 55% cheaper upgrades


lv1 - 3905-55% = 1757,25 = 1757



3905-47,5% = 2050

every admin will be sure im right cuz thats really my ID

everyone can believe me

there is no error here just do not know how to count

3905-[(5% premium +25% discount)-25% upgrade hour]

3905-1172(premium + discount)=2733-683(upgrade hour)=2050

 

i was calculating that but dont tell me they giving 25% off already used discount, its not fair against these which paying for darkorbit

 

It seems they do, so instead of a full 55% off (all the %'s added together, then applied), you get 30% off for discount and premium, THEN take off another 25% of THAT NEW number, so not 25 % of the Original......which yields a total discount of approximately 48%, instead of 55%.

2050 / 3905 = .5249, or 52.49% , so you get 100% - 52.49% = 47.51% total discount

 

i understood it , i just wanna say its not fair against me and others , so thats why i created this thread , that should be 25% for everyone , not 17,5% for these which paying to DO

 

I hear ya Sauron, I tutor math so I can't resist a good math problem lolz...For the record I agree. "an additional 25% off" doesn't mean "ooops only 17.5% off"...it is ia joke.

 

yes , i put it here because upgrade hour says "25% off every upgrades !!!" and not "25% off every upgrades and just 17,5% for these which have rebate and premium"

I think SKULL323 sums up (excuse the pun) pretty well what the calculation method involved for this bonus is, in that the bonus is not accumulative. You receive a 25% deduction on the cost that you would normally show. For example;

​

Before Upgrade Hour = 2734 uridium
During Upgrade Hour = 2050 uridium

Therefore the 25% deduction in cost has correctly been applied.

However i understand the view that this deduction not being accumulative is unfair, therefore i will be sure to report this as feedback for you.

Excellent. Looking forward to a huge refund for all the incorrectly charged upgrade hour discounts due to DO maths fail once again

 

Indeed that seems strange, every other price reduction goes directly to the base 100% but this does not. Look into this, seems strange that this would be only thing doing so.
