Upgrading Cost Charts

This is helpful for the noobies and Fe people trying to become UFE.

 

A credit account? The strength of a credit account EVEN Goliath with full BIO will be weaker than a FE Leonov sounds like a waste of time to me. But have fun anyways. Guess you have lots of friends to help you in the maps to be able to play the game.

Get me the numbers for the first 2 levels and I can generate the tables for you.

the charts I posted were due to a misunderstanding of what the upgrade bonus hour meant - I thought it was 25% extra chance, instead of 25% off the cost.

 

Usually the confusion is that people think the 25% stacks on the 30% (Premium and Rebate) already received (like in Galaxy Gate Materializer) but this is not the way it works. With the GGM they give 12% and thus it adds up to 42% off, with UBH it is like 47% instead of the 55% as the 30% comes off then they take the 25% from that because it is an ADDITIONAL DISCOUNT not a straight "percentage off". The confusion is created because D O has chosen to use both methods of discount stacking, and if you have not used the UBH previously, assume it works like all other discounts/boosters in the game. I do not understand why D O had to do this but for whatever reason they have and it seems every time a math whiz uses UBH they create a thread asking about the misrepresented discount.

The only CHANCE for success is in the percentage you are paying for, otherwise it is strictly cost. And during UBH the best CHANCE is to do 100% as you are guaranteed to get the upgrade and you will get minimum of 2 (15 and 16 take over 30 minutes each) upgrades per hour and if adding the "purple" suggested upgrade level and then divide it (60825/15=4055) and the discounted 100% (54731/15=3649) you see you save average of 406 Uridium (6094 total) and are guaranteed to get full upgrade, so you should be able to level everything you want in less than 2 months using UBH every other week and upgrading all items every time you start an upgrade till the hour ends (the upgrade just needs started, not finished, during the UBH). The reason for not a specific length is if you choose to do all BO-2(35-50), Drones (1-10 depending on what you have) HS-2 launcher, LF-4(1-??), or LF-3(1-45 not recommended except for additional FUN ships make a Pheonix FE or a Leonov for the NEWB hunter to waste ammo on), and then there are the Clan Battle Station Modules which have not even been mentioned here, (someone who has not upgraded anything could have over 100 items to upgrade at 1 time or if you added a NEW HANGAR and want to have a ship EQUIPPED and ready to fly, the drones are the only equipment that transfer to the NEW Hangar) the first couple of upgrades could be finished before getting them all started and the second start for the higher levels may not be able to get them all started before the time ran out, depending on how fast you can get the upgrade to 100% and started.

Take my chart and multiply by 0.75 the percentage you want to use. But it would be a lot cheaper to buy the Rebate Advantage as you would take the result of the above calculation and multiply again by 0.75. I attached both charts below. You will want to overlay the suggested percentage chart with only UBH discount and that is why I suggest buying the Rebate as this is the savings needed to allow for the 100% purchase and still come out money ahead or breaking even without the premium discount

$2.49 to save the hard earned uridium is an investment that would pay off real well when doing things like upgrading.

 

I'm not concerned how expensive it is or how much it helps. 2.49 still means you paid to get an advantage. I have Free Players Pride which means I want ALL my in-game achievements to be earned in-game and not from the support of any type of outside wallet. But thank you for your chart. I will be maximizing in-game efficiency by using it on upgrade hour.

 

Play free and have fun with it. I just started a new one for that purpose. Hades, I won't mind if you said hi the "next time" you passed by me. You can monitor my progression.

 

until you realize it will cost 4,680,0000 uri roughly to upgrade 45 lf4s that would be enough for ships and some of your pet.

 

Tried to say hi to you in the maps (whispered to you) and you did not respond, saw you as a BigBoy and a Nostromo (I think or was it a Piranha). Either way it looks like you went backwards as the BigBoy is better than the other 2.

 

Don't forget he also has Shields and Drones along with HS-2 launchers to be upgraded. But then to get the LF-4's he has to do MAJOR GG's as he is not going to get enough keys to find 45 LF-4's. But he is going to have FUN trying to get enough Uridium to make it happen without spending a dime. I used to be able to say that but found I could not gather enough Uridium (like I used to in 2011-2) when I became FE.

 

But I don't use pet for combat because upgrading my pet beyond lvl 9 would be too fuel inefficient for nonpremium. I just use to to box, pally, and enemy radar with lvl 3 equipment. That means I would need 31 lf4s and by the time I get that many lf4s through much pallying and event boxing, i'll have enough uridium. Although I upgrade everything at once during upgrade hour because I'm limited to 1 hour.

 

Sorry bud, I was AFK then but did get you in contacts. I am still building up credits for gen's and flax. Rockets cost a lot, lol. I have both BigBoy and Nostromo. I will update my progress in my profile.
