Venom Skill at NPC aided by Ship problem

Hi I would like to report this a sort of bug in the game. Well it goes like this. I fly my Venom Goliath right and I want to kill kristallons faster and I noticed that if I use skill on it and fire normally with lasers it dies at 5 seconds left of skill. Well you would think it would die faster but when you just use skill/ability and dont fire at it at all guess when it dies? At 5 seconds left of ability! Surely the kristallon or whatever you are trying to kill should die much faster when you use lasers and rockets and rocketlauncher that cost credits to replace the ammo wasted but it doesnt seem to make it any faster than just to fly around picking up bonus boxes while you have your abiility activated.

Well I am just reporting this as a game problem thank you for a good game.

 

I need to remind this ; that ability is giving more damage to your lasers. That's all.

Well , sometimes game crashes may happen. I hope Game Admins will report it.

This is because Venom's Singularity ability deals direct HP damage, and your Lasers are hitting the Shields with only a minimal amount going through to the Hit-Points. Try dropping the Shields on the Kristallon first and then you'll see that there's no real issue here.

 

No real issue? Do you guys have venom and use it daily? There is an issue. Obviously I should deal a quite a noticeable amount of damage in the time of 60 seconds so I should see it dying faster if I fire at it with lasers, rockets and using rocket launcher on top of using ability but since its not going any faster there must be an issue.

 

The Venom ability deals direct HP damage, around 440k damage if I recall correctly, it sounds like there might be an issue, attacking the NPC with your ability active won't help much unless the shields are already gone because of the HP/shield damage ratio of the NPC in question.

Apologies for the unacceptable delay of a moderator response in this thread.

What has been suggested in this thread is correct. The Venom singularity deals direct damage to the HP, it is an ability that lasts 1 minute and deals increasing damage every second.

If you click on a kristallon and initiate the ability you should see the hit points begin to drop, and when you hit the kristallon with your lasers you will notice the shields will also big to drop, indicating you are doing the damage.

So i do not believe there is an issue here as already highlighted by the other users in the thread.
