    In the official announcement it gives a warning to vpn users. Enlighten me please, what is vpn?

    It's a Virtual Private Network, basically instead of your connection just being from your service provider to your computer it is reroute to another network, giving you a different IP address.
    A change in IP address is used to prevent people getting DDoS attacked, which unfortunately happens a lot in the JPA event. People who are on public networks normally have to use VPNs to play since most default firewalls that neworks use automatically block the ports that DOs client uses.
