Warping Between Bases

So sometimes I find it annoying that I sometimes have to go from lowers to uppers every so often to do quests and stuff, so why not allow free warps between X-1 and X-8 bases? Of course, access to the X-8 base warps would only be available once the player reaches the required level. I don't think this would impact gameplay too much, just make it easier to get around from lowers to uppers. I KNOW that there is a ship warp in game, but really, what's the point of using that? I don't think anyone wants to waste jump credits when they're not at a base, when they could just log out and switch hangers. I haven't posted that much on forums, so helpful feedback is welcome!

 

I am pretty certain they won't put this idea in the game. My suggestion would be to get another hangar and put a credit ship in x-8 so you can log out, switch to that hangar and warp your ship to uppers for free. You can always use the home chip to jump back to lowers.

 

Hangar on 2-8 and lots of jump chips, i have over 40 jump chips in my equipment.

 

It's pointless, if you have 2 or more hangars, you can use them for switching maps, like whoeva explained

 

Lets say you're on 2-7, and want to get to x1 fast, you have to go back to the 2-8 base or logout to change hangars, but with a jump chip, push a button and you're done. And on my server a jump chip 2 is 10k credits.

 

Silviu, this is another possibility, and another reason why I think that the idea is not necessary..
