  1. Eeeeey so.... What got you interested in DO? What kept ya here? For me, it was this video and the music was good too lol

Old DO before x4, pets, drones that would actually turn with you, lf-4's, drone designs etc...

And what's kept me here... Well. Friends. Updates. Overall interest in development in the further development of the game. So, what about you?

Just searching for Space MMORPGs on the web. This was the most interesting.

  4. Darkorbit was my first computer video game. 2006 I tried the game. Used alot of pretending to make believe everything was real. When I reached Sergeant, I would rename myself to say "Sergeant" at the beginning. There were so many players too. Hundreds of players in each map. I loved it. Today, its getting boring playing myself.

my m8 started paying it in 2008 i didnt start till 2010 loved the gave as soon as i started i got invited into a clan and took it from there. i used to be able to escape alot of fe players back in the day in a nos but to new players nowdays its almost impossible to escape and i think thats what turns alot of new players away from the game

  6. I am in total agreement. This too was my first computer game dating back to 2008 or 2009 i think. I quit because I didnt have time and then made a new acct in 2010. I was hooked because there were so many players. In one map I would see about 20 or so players. And people defended their company. People would use company chat and global chat. The FE's at the time before the introduction of UFE would protect its maps. If a small ship or ships were being attacked by enemy companies, they would swoop in to help defend. Smack talk would occur between companies more than it would between clans. Folks didnt share accts as much as they do now. I remember feeling honored to be in a clan. And of course all good things come to an end. For me what made me stay was the rank achievements, it actually felt good to achieve a new rank every so often
