what is the purpose of loggin out so quickly?

So I've noticed that Premium members get a luxurious 5 second log out while other players get a 20 second log out. Why such a 15 second delay? what good does that do? RLY DO? RLY? To sound more ''PREMIUM'' you had to make the word yellow, and then give it as many benefits as you can put into it. Why can't we all have a 5 second log out with or without Premium, no one overlooks this idea, no one even cares. But why must there be a 15 second delay! Now this is like the most unimportant thing right now, yet it still bothers me in a weird way. WHY DO WHY!!! can't we all just get free LF-4 without paying DO cash? (answer yes)
can't we get UFE status without paying DO cash? (answer yes)
so why are we so different from premium and non-premium? its becaus PREMIUM has to have more benifets such as doubling the rocket speeds, which can result in who wins in a battle. Obviously DO still do care about us paying them, so to be the best. we must pay for the best. The only thing you will ever need to be the best is Time and Premium. Lets eliminate Premium, then this game will be such a fun game. Now Skylab time, and extra cargo is still okay, free pet reps and free rep at gates is all normal to who wants to be premium.
But ask yourselves this: why must there be the need for a 15 sec delay during log out? (seems un-necessary) and why do we have to pay if we want a speedy rocket?

 

the 5 second log out helps if enemy has lock on you and ports are busy. better to log out and back in then try to jump port and get tagged again

Actually, This been like this since the game came out with premium. The main reason for the logout time, is just to have another benefit of Premium. Logout anywhere safely. It is only 15 seconds. Just go to a safe spot, and click logout. Without premium, you just have to be safe.

The game been expensive since late 2009. But even before then, you had to pay to get good benefits. Yes, there will be free players like myself who never used premium or bought uri but still had FE and all the best gear back in 2008 but those items you get back in 2008 are alot easier to get now.

Premium has not changed in years, no one had a real problem with it but I guess someone has to complain about it.

 

Saves 15 secs of your valuable time Can also be useful in gaming tactics.

 

15 seconds is not alot. With that 15 seconds, you can go to your backpage, and logoff from the back page, and by the time you reach the login page again, your off the spacemap. Multitasking.

 

best thing i have ever done to escape a fight in pvp map, emp cloak and logout.

im sure the spearheads speed, and the 20 second of cloak can help you get from one side of the map to the other, lol

but the other benefit is double rocket speeds D: why are we all so separated? cant we all have the same rocket speed? why do premium expire? if they do expire, can we keep something? like a free present, or when u become premium, they give you x4 rocket cpu (instead of the X2) and you can use it forever without needing to repay constantly. DO is greedy yes, but Players are greedier.

 

Because Premium is like advance membership. If you become a member of a store, such as BJs, Sams, ETC, then you pay a certain amount of money per year to get benefits. Depending on the length and what type of membership you are getting, depends on the benefits.

Stop complaining about Premium. It is not broken. You pay for premium to get more benefits. Without these benefits, might as well get rid of premium and keep rebates only.

 

Never said premium was broken, there are more benefit to premium. I would just like them to remove the double rocket speeds. We are separating payers and non-payers by having payers being stronger in combat. Premium should not involve combat.

If you want to be the top you must pay. I know people who pay and still suck, I know people who don't pay and area ranked in top 100s yet premium would help them in combat. Never said it was broken, just that premium shouldn't give extra advantage in the combat UFE payed for the double rocket speed that comes with premium will be able to pop a non-paying UFE no matter the odds, its all the skills cause of the advantages over the combat. IDC what premium gives (5% discount, logout <is dumb, double speed skylab, double cargos, etc.) why would we separate ourselves with combat for paying or not paying.

 

That is the whole point of this game.

This is now a Pay2Win game, barely a "Free2Play".
Also, there must be a gap between the payers and players, it's how 99% of the games work.

If you cannot handle how this game is built, then leave. Simple as that.

 

must u guys all be haters of free players? or atleast retired not gonna pay anymore players? the new loyalty thing is coming out, perhaps that will involve something with us being premium for a certain amount of time, that we get to keep double speed rockets.

 

Actually, I been a free player since the game came out. I only spent about 150$ total over the last 7 years on Premium and rebates. I had about 17 different accounts that I got to FE and a few that got to competitive status to be top 100 of any server and kill Wallet warrior UFEs.

Premium has been the same since it first came out years ago except for some minor adjustments they have made and the main thing that people buy premium now for is just the Rocket speed and the luxury to leave the game faster. Free repairs are already now implemented to all players and there are dozens of ways of increasing your cargo hold and there is already a rebate package. Take away the 5 second logout and rocketspeed and then premium will become useless and no one will buy it.
