What is the worst thing introduced???

Worst thing:
I believe Ice rockets should be disabled..They totally mess up the game, for the reason that, two players can hit you simultanously and you are done for. (EMps are useless at 500uri a shot, if they sped up cooldowns then it wouldn't be so bad, would it?).

Anyone think something else? Feel free to suggest, please give reason too...

Aegis and citadel weren't too bad.. Spear... *facepalm* pet was ok too, for me anyways. Just wish we coulda kept it's look at one it would look to cute shooting 20k rsb in that little pod

RSB + Jump chip + Upgrades + Ice rockets + Free ship repairs.. could go on but this much should be enough to munch on.

Dodgy misleading downgrades for sure, ice rockets are my friend so it would pain me to say that there bad .

 

I did actually purchase ice rockets.( and never got the hang of em)..It seemed that when I used them on players not much happened except they were slightly disabled, however when used against me correctly, it seemed that the damage was greater. The other point is when 2 players hit you consectitively -timed with kami..you may as well log off....
I is terrible if you are ufe and against players that stocked up on ice rockets.... Those things haven't destroyed the game but they certainly irritated a number of players....

 

Jesus Christ. I quit the game a little over six months ago. I just came back yesterday, got killed by these ice rockets.

ice rockets don't kill you lets face it if you're attacked by 2 or more skilled pilots you should pop anyhow let them waste their ice rockets. There is stratagy to them freeze then kami lol dont work if they don't shoot you back huh , use to escape sometimes trying to use them gets you killed anyhow if stumbling for a lock, help a company member out you see a company member getting shot and trying to escape freeze the enemy. these just a few

what gets me is the people complaining about how it ruined pvp if you fly up on someone and snipe them off shooting npcs how is that pvp you have all the advantage they probably shooting credit ammo and damaged already. so when they use a freeze rocket to get out of a bad situation how can you blame them back in the old days you could get plenty of kills using skill with real pvp not this overpowered killing noobs stuff that the game is about now. so DO threw a wounded dog a bone and gave them a chance to actually survive 1 in 10 pop attempts and so many crying about it.

 

You know, I would agree that ice rockets have many defensive applications as well, if this was any other community than the DO one. Because it's the DO community, they're guaranteed to be abused.

I actually share the exact same view as you. I actually quit the game over this "overpowered killing noobs stuff that the game is about now." Thing is, they can both be used for noobs to get away and to hunt them, and I'm mostly concerned over the noob hunting crap, because frankly between the noob and the noob hunter the noob is far less likely to have freeze rockets on them when the eleventh hour comes.

Everything after 2009. Shame really, Bigpoint had the opportunity to enrich a great game with new and exciting features. Instead they decided to try to enrich themselves.

 

In terms of a noob, my ship is one. But I've been on and off of DO since the days when the skylab was just the lab and you could buy the red yomato and the defcom, and depending on your idea of what a noob is, I've never graduated from being one... Most I ever achieved was FE. So you can imagine why I feel strongly about the subject.
