When will this item be available?

I've been playing darkorbit for a considerable amount of time (since 2008) though taking a few years off, I've only ever seen the drone formation -03 lance appear at its debut. Let me know if it will be available anymore and if possible when? Right now its a ghostly enigma of an item and the question arises; is it even possible to get anymore?
I would appreciate if only those who know for certain comment and others leave out unnecessary opinions.

It is to my current knowledge (and if they haven't changed it) that the only way to get this formation is if you invite 25 other people and they play until the level of 7.

 

Sorry for being blunt but inviting 25 people will not get you the formation unless the event is active. Normally one would receive a unique Goliath design which has no purpose. My point here is, WILL the event be active again or not; so far i have witnessed it once. (And that was at the inception of its existence into the game)

Honestly, I don't think the event will be coming out again - It's been that long since I've seen it. I think the answer you'll get from the Moderators is that the event is random, and then then thread will be locked.

Just keep an eye out, in case it does show face. I've already got a dozen or so friends roped in to help me get it, when/if it does come out.

 

I only seen it twice, my guess is, DO doesn't care to release a formation people "cheated" to get, and it only makes your mines do 50% more dmg so it isn't important unless your mining people in the pally field like they do on my server or you bothering to lay mines on people in a base even though they rep faster then you can drop mines. Which im willing to bet you had no idea that's what the formation did. On the test server however it costs like 2mil uridium.. yeah who the hell wants to pay 2 mil for a crappy formation right?

 

Fun fact:
It was 2,147,483,647 which is the maximum number that can be displayed in 32 bit. For all we know it could have been 10 trillion but the 2.147 bil is the maximum number displayed, honor also caps at that number when viewed on the backpage ^^

However yeah, it is pretty useless when it comes to actually fighting, more of a thing to show off than anything.

 

lol yeah I was thinking it was more but didn't want to believe it, I looked at it months ago, thought it was such a pathetic price I didn't bother to look again lol.
