    Frozen Labyrinth

    General information
    The DarkOrbit Winter Event is back! Can you catch the elusive Synk and avoid the pesky Iceterion in the Frozen Labyrinth? All while holding back the endless flood of Black Light aliens!

    Take part in the Frozen Labyrinth, a massive multiplayer treasure hunt, and traverse your way through the maze to reach the Boss NPC! Earn amazing rewards and a new title!

    The Frozen Labyrinth Gate can be accessed at the following times (Local Server Times):
    o Monday-Friday: From 10:00 to 14:00 (4 hours), from 17:00 to 19:00 (2 hours) and from 21:00 to 23:00 (2 hours)
    o Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 to 13:00 (2 hours), from 15:00 to 19:00 (4 hours) and from 21:00 to 23:00 (2 hours)​

    The Frozen Labyrinth can be accessed from X-1 maps and this gate which can be found in X-1 doesn’t require a Labyrinth Key to enter.

    On all Frozen Labyrinth maps, PvP is disabled. At any one point, only one Synk – which is the Frozen Labyrinth Boss NPC– will be spawned in the whole Frozen Labyrinth Map system. In the center of every Frozen Labyrinth Map there’s a gate that brings to back to your home map in X-1.

    When you enter the Frozen Labyrinth, there are 3 base Labyrinth maps (Atlas A, Atlas B, Atlas C) and each player will be randomly sent to one of these 3 maps. Each map will spawn NPCs and/or loot boxes with a chance to get Labyrinth Keys to explore further into the Frozen Labyrinth.

    The whole Labyrinth contains 16 maps which are interlaced with each other. In addition, each map has different zones and gates that are interconnected. Every gate that is placed within the Frozen Labyrinth will require a Labyrinth Key to access it (excluding the center gate that brings you back to your home map). Use them during the event because at the end of the event, all unused Labyrinth Keys will be removed!

    Each of the different zones in the Frozen Labyrinth maps are spawning different Frozen NPCs that should be shot down to get a reward package. In those reward packages, you have the chance to get Labyrinth keys as well as other attractive items.

    Boss NPC: Synk
    A message will be displayed announcing the upcoming spawn of Synk on the Frozen Labyrinth maps. On killing Synk, it will give the player a title and achievement as well as a reward box. The amount of the items in the reward box can differ each time.

    It’s up to you to find your way through the Frozen Labyrinth and find the Synk!

    NPC: Iceterion
    There are also a lot of other Frozen NPCs which are dropping rewards on death and giving out chances to win Labyrinth Keys and other valuable items. And there are also Iceterion NPCs that will give you a hard time in the Frozen Labyrinth. They cannot be killed but they are dropping exploding mines that will hurt your ship!

    Mini Boss NPC: Skoll
    The Skoll have broken out of the Breach, and is running amok in the labyrinth. Three of the Skoll NPC will spawn every 5 minutes at any point in the Frozen Labyrinth maps. There will be an information broadcasted in the Labyrinth when they spawn. If the Skoll chooses you, it attacks you – as soon as you’re blinking red because you’re in his rocket zone, you can decide whether to attack him or to move out of the rocket zone. The Skoll NPC will spawn minions that can be attacked instead.

    On death, the Skoll NPC gives out rewards for the top 3 damage dealers:
    - 3x Labyrinth Key
    - 5x Indoctrine Oil
    - 10x Indoctrine Accelerators​

    Leaderboard
    There will be a leaderboard for players that have found the Labyrinth Boss in order that they found the boss.

    The rank will be in order of:
    1. How many times did the player find Synk
    2. When Synk was found latest​
    At the end of the event, the Top 10 Players of the leaderboard will get the title: Elite Marksman

    Ship Boost event: Fever
    There will be 3 different time slots where the Ship Boost event runs: During each run of these “Fever” time slots, different ship selections will get an additional bonus.
    Fever schedule:
    Monday to Friday: From 19:00 to 21:00 LST
    Saturday and Sunday: 13:00 to 15:00 and 19:00 to 21:00 LST

    Black Light Rankings
    There will be again a live ranking displayed in the client event window which shows the players that are getting the furthest in the Eternal Black Light Galaxy Gate.
    Once you enter the Eternal Black Light Galaxy Gate, you’ll take part in the Black Light Rankings. Your highest wave completed will be recorded in the Ranking Boards. If there are players that completed the same number of waves, their rank will be in order of who has reached the wave first.

    During the event time, there are 3 different sets of Black Light Ranking rewards that you can obtain. These 3 sets are corresponding in event times with the Ship Boost Fever Sets:

    Battle Pass Keys
    On top of earning rewards directly from each Battle Pass objective, you now also earn Battle Pass Keys (BPK) that you can use to trade for rewards of your choice from the new Battle Pass Reward Exchange window.
    IMPORTANT: There’s an inventory limit of 250 Battle Pass Keys in the Inventory. Unused Battle Pass Keys will be exchanged into Honor when the event is over!

    Battle Pass Booty Boxes
    With Battle Pass Keys, you can also open Battle Pass Booty Boxes which will be available during the event time, spawning in X-2 to X-8, Battle Maps, Pirate Maps and more commonly in the Frozen Labyrinth. When opening the boxes, this might take a few seconds.

    Winter Calendar
    Together with the Winter event, there will be a special Winter Calendar available from 16th December 2021 until 1st January 2022.

    Login every day to get all the 15 different rewards – and if you miss one day, you’ll have 17 days in total to claim all rewards. The final reward will be the new Frost Hammerclaw P.E.T. Design!
