Winter Event – Frozen Labyrinth FAQ

General information

Take part in the Frozen Labyrinth, a massive multiplayer treasure hunt, and traverse your way through the maze to reach the Boss NPC! Earn amazing rewards and an exclusive title!
The Frozen Labyrinth Gate can be accessed at the following times (Local Server Times):

• Monday-Friday: From 10:00 to 14:00 (4 hours) and from 19:00 to 23:00 (4 hours)
• Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 to 15:00 (4 hours) and 19:00 to 23:00 (4 hours)

The Frozen Labyrinth can be accessed from X-1 maps and this gate which can be found in X-1 doesn’t require a Labyrinth Key to enter.

On all Frozen Labyrinth maps, PvP is disabled. At any one point, only one Synk –which is the Frozen Labyrinth Boss NPC– will be spawned in the whole Frozen Labyrinth Map system. In the center of every Frozen Labyrinth Map there’s a gate that brings you back to your home map in X-1.

When you enter the Frozen Labyrinth, there are 3 base Labyrinth maps (Atlas A, Atlas B, Atlas C) and each player will be randomly sent to one of these 3 maps. Each map will spawn NPCs and/or loot boxes with a chance to get Labyrinth Keys to explore further into the Frozen Labyrinth.

The whole Labyrinth contains 16 maps which are interlaced with each other. In addition, each map has different zones and gates that are interconnected. Every gate that is placed within the Frozen Labyrinth will require a Labyrinth Key to access it (excluding the center gate that brings you back to your home map). Use them during the event because at the end of the event, all unused Labyrinth Keys will be removed!

Each of the different zones in the Frozen Labyrinth maps are spawning different Frozen NPCs that should be shot down to get a reward package. In those reward packages, you have the chance to get Labyrinth keys as well as other attractive items.

Boss NPC: Synk
A message will be displayed announcing the upcoming spawn of Synk on the Frozen Labyrinth maps. On killing Synk, it will give the player a title and achievement as well as a reward box. The amount of the items in the reward box can differ each time.

Leaderboard
There will be a leaderboard for players that have found the Labyrinth Boss in order that they found the boss.
The rank will be in order of:

1. How many times did the player find Synk
2. When Synk was found latest

At the end of the event, the Top 10 Players of the leaderboard will get the title: Elite Marksman

Objectives & Battle Pass
When the event starts, there will be objectives available for players to complete. The objectives are similar to missions but you don’t need to accept them manually. The progress for the objectives begins automatically when the event starts. Completing these objectives gives you rewards and completing them with the Battle Pass even gives you better rewards.

Helpful hint: The new ship “Zephyr” and the new ship module “SPC-SPD01” will be among the ultimate rewards!

Together with the objectives, a “Battle Pass” is available in the shop. You can purchase it either with Uridium or via Payment. The “Battle Pass” gives you access to additional rewards on top of the original rewards that you get from completing the objectives. The objectives as well as the original rewards and the “Battle Pass” rewards can be found in the event window “Objectives”.

New Ship: Zephyr

A new ship is available as a reward in the objectives: The Zephyr!

Skill: Momentum
When the skill is activated, every charge adds 1.5% speed to the ship, up to a maximum of 750 speed (percentages will be added with every charge, i.e. 2 charges is 3% etc.)

• Duration: 20 sec
• Cooldown: No cooldown, can only be activated when there is more than 0 charges
• Killing an NPC adds a charge to Momentum, up to 20 charges possible
• When the skill is not active, range increases by +5 per charge
• When the skill is activated
  • Every charge adds 1,5% speed to the ship for the skill duration (up to a maximum of 750 speed)
  • Charges are reset to 0 immediately
  • Range will be reset to original range immediately
• Charges are displayed in the quick slot bar
• IMPORTANT: This charge will be reset to 0 on server restart!
• This skill can be interrupted by JAMX effect and the player can also be prevented from using the skill by a JAMX
• The skill cannot be cancelled by EMP-01

Skill: Triple Barrage
Set off 3 explosions in a triangular formation based on the targeted NPC.

• Target: NPC
• Cooldown: 10 minutes
• Explosion radius will be 200 server units
• Explosion damage is only dealt to NPCs
• Each explosion deals 20,000 damage
• Overlapping explosions will deal stacked damage
  • E.g. if an NPC is in an area that is affected by two explosions, it will sustain 2 x 20,000 damage

New ship upgrade modules
During the Winter event, it’s possible to get a new ship upgrade module as a reward in the Battle Pass. The following modules are given out:
